    Smells divine
I always cut out coffee at the beginning of the new year and it slips back into my life from thanksgiving to Christmas. I bought this for a chocolate cheesecake for Thanksgiving and it smelled so divine I had to try it. It’s delicious. I will probably keep enjoying a cup most days till the new year.

    My fav coffee beans
Nice smooth taste – definitely my favorite blend. Organic, ethically sourced…. what’s not to love?

    Horrid
This might be the worst coffee I’ve ever made espresso with. I had hope, but after dialing in and pulling a shot, I was horrified by a bitter disgusting taste. Sure, pure cocoa powder might be a bit bitter, but that doesn’t mean they should put cocoa powder as a flavor note for their bitter coffee. If you think this is good coffee, please go to your local roaster and sample some beans!

    Smooth taste for espresso
I have an old, reliable Mr. Coffee machine I use to make double espressos. I drink ’em straight, but I’m no espresso expert. These are made for espresso, and always taste relatively fresh and smooth. The flavor has a little bite to it, but that’s to be expected. Once I discovered that French roast was a deep dark roast, in essence, burning the beans pretty badly, I decided I didn’t like it; and I’ve come to find espresso aficionados don’t usually like dark roasts also; so the fact that it isn’t a dark roast in part explains the smooth flavor.
