Flavor!!!
After trying many different brands and flavors for my new espresso machine, including the most expensive Starbucks and others, we fell in love with this coffee. Just right! Strong but not bitter, the aroma is amazing, always fresh. I’ve been buying on subscription now. Every 2 weeks I will receive a package. It makes the perfect espresso and cappuccino, you can taste the notes of chocolate, the texture, color and amount of oil feel just right! In love!!!

Good Price – Decent Coffee
A two + poud bag was a good price and was what we call ‘drinkable,’ coffee. We like a strong brew, but it was a bit bitter brewed strong. Reduced to light brew, it tasted better and we drank it daily for breakfast and while working. A good Value with a decent, not spectacular taste.

Low quality beans, poor crema, & no flavor
You get what you pay for with this one. Had to grind to dust for an acceptable espresso pressure therefore channeling was an issue. After getting close I switched to the double wall filter. I wanted to like these beans, truly! When I first opened the package I thought the smell was good, and the beans looked the part. As an espresso shot the flavor wasnât bold, but slightly bitter. As an americano the vagueness of flavor was highlighted⦠I kept thinking, âis this coffee?â As a latte the steamed milk and syrup turned the shot into a palatable drink, like how hold music is fine but nothing you want to listen to. I was relieved when the bag was empty.

I’ve been a barista. I’ve been drinking coffee and espresso for decades. I’ve had espresso and cappuccino all over Italy. None of that means I actually know anything but it’s the truth and you can believe what you like.The aroma of these beans haunts me after a certain hour of the day when I have to avoid caffeine. I am literally waking up earlier in the morning just to make myself a cup of this stuff.Not everyone will agree. Tastes differ.Methods differ too.I’m using a DeLonghi la Specialista Arte Evo machine and preparing double espresso shots for a big mug cappuccino. They are divine.NOTE: We were buying a darker roast from Amazon and decided to try another bean after buying this machine and feeling as though the coffee wasn’t quite as good as it was from our older unit. This bean was the answer and it’s even less than we were paying before!Highly recommend.

Not espresso roast in current form.
Overall coffee isn’t bad but like a lot of the other reviews no crema in current form. I discovered the problem in the ability to not grind fine was in the roast, so this is what I did I put it back in my roaster and roasted it about 10 to 15 minutes longer and this corrected both the grind and lack of crema. I hope this helps people buying this roast.

Great value fantastic taste
Gotta say that this Amazon brand whole bean coffee is pretty good and holds it own to ones costing much more. Dates are always within a few months and I’ve yet to get a bad batch. If you like Lavazza then you’ll like this just as much.

Dark Espresso is light is flavor
The product was shipped well. The coffee beans are a good color and a slight to medium aroma to the package. Upon preparing a first cup to taste i was taken back by the lack of richness in taste. I made a two cup espresso with frothed milk… It was a bland taste. I do not suggest this product as it lacks richness in flavor…
