This is a short, stout cup that doesn’t have the typical tapered travel cup shape. Instead, it holds the same diameter top to bottom with only a rounded edge at the very bottom. It looks sharp with the ribbing and the glossy black color.While it seems wider than normal it does fit into a normal automobile cup holder. It’s also easy for me to grip but if you have small hands, you should give it a try.The cup is constructed using stainless steel for the inner and outer layers. It features a plastic, low-profile screw on top. And a disk of silicone rubber mounted on the bottom to provide cushioning and to protect the bottom paint from damage.The top screws on tight and has a silicone O-ring for sealing. The cup can be used with the included straw for cold liquids or a simple drinking hole for coffee. The hole is closed using a simple silicone plug. Very simple to use, easy to clean and most of all secure.The cup has a sophisticated, multi-layer insulation system to keep liquids cold or hot. This includes a vacuum created between the inner and outer walls and copper plating on the back surface of the inside wall. The copper-plated layer reflects heat radiation, effectively reducing the heat loss. So, the layer provides another insulating layer beyond the vacuum. A definite upgrade from standard cups.During my use at normal room temperatures, after 6 hours the temperature of my coffee was in the range of 120 to 130 degrees. At 10 hours the coffee was down to 100 degrees F – This was a drop of about 90 degrees from the starting point. So, I would say the cup meets the descriptions on the webpage. I didn’t test it for cold, as I intend to use this for coffee while driving.I’m happy with the mug. It looks great and is constructed using some sophisticated manufacturing techniques. It’s very strong. And keeps my coffee warm for many more hours than I actually need.For drinking coffee, the drinking port is very easy to open using one hand. Closing it up is just as easy – I really like this simple, easy to maintain opening and closing system. And the shape of the top edge is very comfortable to drink from and doesn’t drip.The cup does all I want, and I would recommend it. Good job

I can fit my entire hand inside the cup.â I would prefer a 20-21 oz size, taller and skinny version. My grip/palm diameter isnât so big.â Great straw option.Cons:â The wide-mouth lid is too shallow, causing water to drip past the sides of my mouth.â Poor heat insulation, likely due to the two sip openings. My tea becomes lukewarm too quickly especially when the weather is colder.Iâve owned the Japanese elephant brand (Zojiru*) for over 20 years. The heat insulation lasts more than 24 hours. I am likely to use the Goom tumbler during the summer months for cooler drinks.

I love this cup!!!! It’s beautiful!!!! I put either hot or cold coffee in it and it doesn’t leak. I can toss it in my purse and don’t have to worry about it knowing it wont leak. That’s such a huge thing for me because if I don’t have my cup with me I forget all about it. This way it’s always with me and I get to drink my coffee. I use it all day long. Highly recommend it’s the first cup I’ve found that is 100% leak proof.
