Love the certifications
I bought this coffee because it hits all my recommended certifications. Organic and Rainforest Alliance Certified are very important to me as they tell us our coffee is chemical free and not contributing to deforestation. The flavor of the coffee is great too!

Favorite organic coffee
Love this in French press! It’s whole bean so grinding is bit annoying but worth it. WF never has it already ground. Not sure why. I sometimes grind it if I buy in store but home delivery, use grinder at home. Delicious full body flavor!

Delicious Dark Flavor
I’ve had a lot of coffee from Whole Foods and they have a very unique blend of palettes. This specific dark blend is aiming for a bittersweet flavor, which I think is atypical for a dark blend. That being said, the flavor is excellent and the strength is strong! It’s got thick and well-bodied flavor. One of my favorites!As for the price, it is a little on the more expensive size. However, this product is organic which I think is an important distinction for coffee like this which makes the value worth it. The coffee was also fresh and ready to grind when it arrived. Very happy with this blend!

Organic Whole Bean Dark Italian Roast Coffee
This Organic Arabica Whole Bean Dark Italian Roast makes a decent cup of coffee for dark roast lovers. Given it is a blend without a source of the beans its tasty. When I received the coffee the best buy date was 4 months away. There is no roast date which i always something I expect from my bag of coffee, so that was a big disappointment! Usually a best buy date is 12 months from the roast date so this could have been sitting for 8 months. The coffee smells rich and bittersweet. For a grocery store coffee its above average!

Really Good Italian Roast
I normally don’t like dark roasts, but this is actually really enjoyable. The coffee is organic too which is always a perk! Definitely could see myself buying this one if it goes on sale.

Tasty
This review is for Whole Foods Market Dark Italian Roast Coffee. This is a 12 oz bag of whole beans. I can never pick up on the fancy notes that coffees claim they taste like but this smells and tastes very good. It’s a bit of the sharper/acidic side as far as flavor goes. You do have to grind the beans yourself, but I like that because I know it’s fresh.
