Does not work for model BNV420TTN VirtuoPlus Delux Titan
It is NOT compatible with BNV420TTN. Fussed with it for an hour, the water holes are too small. It piddles like it has kidney stones, red light flashes on top indicating error then it shuts down after pi$$ing about an ounce of black mud. Ejects out the back and scalds your hand when you try to open it with the nastiest swill you’ve ever seen. Have lots of paper towels on-hand because it’s a mess. If you can’t afford the coffee, you can’t afford one of these. Interesting they sent a plastic cup and a few stick on aluminum lids that do work, but no instructions for that. Guess its a free sample for what does works. FYI, I think the BVN420TTN is an overseas model, made in the Ukraine, possibly offloaded to some major department stores like Target. We got ours on a Black Friday special for 1/2 the regular price (About $80) Searching the internet for the model number returns almost nothing. Don’t get me wrong, nothing wrong with the product, We’re delighted, and now happy to pay $1.00+ per capsule. I just think its a “Special Model” they dumped to clear out and make room for the newer model, or it is the newest model and doesn’t have an Internet presence yet. If it did you could buy one on Amazon. The Nespresso is made by Beville.com, but not showcased on the website. It does turn up if you do a search for the model number on their website.

Not as good as expected_ Part b
After purchasing the smaller reusable stainless steel capsule for expresso brewing in my Nespresso machine and having been satisfied I hurried to order the larger size capsule to regular cup size (aprox 8 oz.) to expand our capacity and save money. Although the unit appears to share the same design of the original, I have been experiencing difficulty with brewing using this model. Slow brewing rate ( dripping and straining) and inferior cup of coffee. I ran the capsule empty and it seemed to flow well. I then emptied one of my original Nespresso capsules into the stainless reusable capsule and it brewed in a similar fashion as the original capsule. This leads me to believe I need to try and experimenting with my grind settings. I use a Cuisinart coffee grinder that allows me to adjust my settings to from powder to coarse. I am presently experimenting with different grind settings to find what works best with the new capsule. I will try and post a follow up and share what I have learned.Follow Up… I have continued experimenting with the stainless steel coffee capsule with positive results. As I grind my own coffee i sm setting a grind size slightly larger than the grind that comes in the nesspresso capsules. I also don’t scoop the coffee form the container and pack it in the capsule using the weighted tamping tool. I have had more success by gently pouring the coffee grounds into the capsule and just tapping the capsule to settle the grounds without packing. If I get grounds on the threads I wet my fingers and run them along the threads to clean them of grind or powder. Once I start screwing on the top if it appears to be difficult to tighten I just place the capsule under a bit of running water at a 45 degree angle to clean out any residue to secure the top to the capsule gasket making it water tight and ready for brewing. I know it has not been as easy as advertised but I do enjoy being able to select different coffee types and brands and the outcome is a smooth cup of coffee that is worth the process. Especially if you enjoy coffee. I use original capsules and the reusable ones as well. Original works best but reusable is a close second.Happy Brewing!

Despite trying various options, I have not been able to get this to work with my new Vertuo Next Machine at all

There is a very bad seal between the cup and the lid, so once in a coffee machine and under the pressure coffee grounds start to leak out. Not a very good contraption. Not for me ! … maybe I was missing on some instructions , .. oh well there were non in the box !!!
