Nice, large Spode porcelain mug, subtle design, made in China
Overall this is a well made, sturdy porcelain mug which holds 16 ounces of your favorite hot beverage perfectly. Mine is English tea, of course! Iâm enjoying the size as well as the lovely tones of soft browns and greens in the design. And while I do like the subtle, natural colors I find the pattern lacking a little. The background has a beige âfoggyâ look which makes the design a bit dull, not a lot of contrast to it. Just FYI itâs made in China instead of the U.K. (though some of their goods are still made there). I definitely do still recommend it, the pattern isnât my favorite of theirs but it still has a certain dreamy charm.

Just gorgeous!
Itâs the perfect mug for fall and winterâ muted and cozy and big. I love nature and the trees are beautiful on this. Something about the way itâs printed makes it look like itâs in soft-focus. Itâs just the right size for my 12oz coffee plus all my additions. I can still carry it without sloshing. Woohoo!
