Attractive air-tight container
I bought these for the appearance and the size. They’re about the same size as a standard coffee can. I grind my coffee for 2-3 days at a time, and I wanted something that I could store my grounds in that would keep them fresh until I use them.You can hear the “woosh” when the bamboo lids seal around the glass. And you hear it again when you pull the lid off. So it seems like it is getting a good seal and my coffee tastes like it’s being kept fresh. Plus, even though the lids form the seal, they are not difficult to pull off. Just pull them straight off – no need to twist.The pattern gives it some charm and I’m very happy with these jars for what I needed them.

Nice jars, good size
The jars came well-packed and were fine. One of the lids had two small chips in the rim, where it was near a knot in the wood, but is still usable. The lids are not as tight fitting as I would have liked, but they work for my purpose of storing protein powder for my coffee. I did buy some short handled stainless steel scoops to use in them, as they could easily be pushed down into the powder. The plastic scoops I had been using tended to stick up too far and couldn’t really be pushed down, so hindered the lids from sitting closed on the jars when full.

These glass storage jars are really beautiful. I love the raised textured design and the lids truly have a snug enough fit making this product truly functional for any type of use. The glass on these jars allows for less of an obvious clear view through of what’s inside. The lid has a nice wood feel and appropriate weight for the product. I bought these to help with my organizing of little things such as those little freebie skin and beauty samples and all my cotton nail polish remover pads. They make organizing a beautiful thing.

Tight seal, looks good – just watch sizing
I got this to store pre-ground coffee in to make the kitchen area look nicer. The seal on both jars seems very airtight which is exactly what I needed. My only complaint has to do with sizing – they are a bit small, too small to fit a whole bag of coffee. My coffee only indicated volume by weight (12oz) and this jar is measured in actual volume (24oz), so I ended up with a decent amount that can’t fit in the jar. Not the fault of the product at all though, just know going in that if you’re looking for significant storage space and don’t want to split your substance between the two jars then you may want to look for something larger.
