A number of years ago, we noticed people using an inordinate amount of disposable glue brushes for arts, crafts and woodworking projects. We decided to try and come up with a reusable brush that would last. The Sili Brush was born! A silicone brush that can be used over and over again! We like to keep it simple with the Sili product line. We find that the easier our products are to understand, the more people enjoy them!
THE COMPLETE SILI GLUE KIT – Features two sizes of silicone glue brushes, a silicone glue tray, and a versatile glue squeegee. These essential wood glue tools are perfect for woodworking, arts and crafts, and hobby projects. Get all your glue applicator needs in one kit to enhance your creative work!
SILICONE GLUE BRUSHES FOR WOODWORKING – The smaller ½” brush is ideal for narrow strips and small pieces, while the larger 1” brush is great for thicker stock. The glue paddles are perfect for applying small amounts of glue to smaller areas like wood dovetail or box joints. Both silicone tips are easy to clean. It’s the ideal wood glue brush.
SILICONE COMB/SQUEEGEE – Apply glue to larger areas with the Sili Comb/Squeegee. With a comb side that’s 3½”wide, it creates ideal glue grooves for woodworking. The 2″ squeegee side ensures a smooth finish, making it a versatile tool for arts & crafts. Upgrade your wood glue applicator with our no stick silicone glue brushes and wood glue spreader.
SILICONE GLUE TRAY – The ideal glue tray for your crafts and projects. Pour or squeeze wood glue into the silicone tray, then use the silicone glue brushes to apply to your project. Once finished, easily pour leftover glue back into your bottles using the funnel tip. Perfect for woodworking, arts and hobbies!
NON-STICK, LESS MESS – Mixing glue with brush can get messy. Our silicone brushes are non-stick and easy to clean. Simply use warm water, or let glue dry overnight for easy peeling. This convenient set of silicone glue brushes includes a 1″ brush, ½” brush, comb/squeegee, and a tray. Effective glue applicators for various projects.

Great for woodworking
This works great for glue ups for woodworking. I like the different brushes and the tray. When you pour out too much glue you can easily pour it back into the bottle. It was well work the money to have less of a mess when doing glue-ups.

My first official glue brush kit
I’ve been spreading glue with just my finger or a q-tip if I needed to get into a tight spot. These brushes make for a nice upgrade at a fair price. I’ve only used the larger brush once so far for some edge gluing and it worked well, though the bristles felt like they were dragging a bit more than I expected. A number of the bristles on the larger brush do have some extra material around them making them a little larger / flatter than some of the other bristles. I don’t know if this is affecting the use any (doesn’t seem to) but this might be why it feels like the brush is dragging a bit. The bristles on the smaller brush and large comb brush look like there were formed / cut better with less excess material. The size and feel of the handles is nice – for my average size man hands it’s not too big, not too small, and is easy to use (and flip around to the other side) one handed. The handles are a harder plastic but have a slightly soft feel to the finish, skin doesn’t stick / drag on it like it sometimes can with other kinds of plastics (though I have only used the brush on a cooler day so hot days and sweaty hands might make a difference). And cleanup is pretty easy, I didn’t wait for the glue to dry to try peeling it off but just rinsed everything off with a little water and wiped it clean with a paper towel.

A useful set for a woodworker doing glue-ups.
I’ve used this a few times now. The brushes work well to spread the glue so I don’t have to worry about getting glue on my project after using my finger to spread it. The tray is good for setting the brushes on, and also for mixing up sawdust and glue to fill small voids that invariably appear in projects. And everything cleans easily. (I haven’t used the black spreader yet.)

Why didn’t I buy this sooner??
I’ve been doing woodworking for years and always thought my glueup technique was adequate. Then I received this set. Wow! The application process is great, the clean-up is easy and I can now throw out my old squeeze glue bottle.I highly recommend this set for your woodshop!

As advertized
I will try to remember to come back and give it a more honest rating after it’s been used a few times for various applications. A nice set of tools for spreading glue. I’ll use it to spread wood glue on boards that will be clamped together for certain projects. The larger spreader will save time by filling in the larger pieces. The smaller ones look as though they will do a good job of sealing thinner boards edges together when making things like cutting boards or turning buwls on a lathe.

Good variety, great quality
We ended up not needing these but it’s a great little set of very sturdy and varied instruments, so we are keeping them for future use. This assortment should cover just about any application need.

Works great, and easy to use/clean up
I was honestly very surprised how well these worked, and how easy they were to clean up. They made cleaning up (usually a very messy and painstaking process) very easy. I have used them several times now, with not just glue, and they have worked superbly each time. I am very happy, and would definitely recommend. As a matter of fact, I was so happy with these, I even ordered some smaller ones they have for “finer” work, and I am very happy with those ones as well.

In all industries that involve using brushes with glue. I think I can say that this can save your company or pockets a lot of money and hassle. I have a wood working shop, and originally we used horse hair brushes aka the type that when used you throw away. Unlike these which I have used titebond three pa glue, and after a glue up just let it dry or clean it but honestly if your like me youâll let them dry just so you can peel the glue out.And yes I know thatâs weirdItâs a good value for price, though if they could lower it even more then great
