Perfect size for small grinds. I gave 3 because lid is plastic. I struggled to find a glass grinder and was disappointed to see a plastic lid. The image I showed is Zhi Mu Root. About 90 seconds w the single blade and it’s powdery soft. Tried doing orris root with the double blade and it shot absolutely everywhere thru the lid and on counter….going to try a few others ….might return.

It is well made and works really well. I love the size, not too big and can be on the counter as well, It looks really nice. Great value and I would recommend it for sure. If you like grinding your own spices and it can be used for oats as well, I tried making oat flour and it worked great.

I grow and bottle my own tomatoes and keep the skins to dehydrate and grind into powder. I have done this before with a mortar and pestle and it is time consuming. I do have another electric grinder for “herb” but for obvious reasons, I don’t want to contaminate my tomato powder with anything else. That’s where this grinder shines. Not only did it do a fantastic job of grinding my tomato skins to powder, but the grinder bowl is removeable and dishwasher safe. My other grinder is one piece and is very hard to effectively clean because of that. This one comes with two bowls, making it even more functional if you, for example, only wanted to use one grinder to grind two things like “herb” and coffee. The other thing I like about this grinder is the double cover. My other grinder just has one lid, so when grinding items into fine powder, some of that powder gets out and all over the place. Being able to seal the inner bowl, then covering that with another cover keeps everything much more contained. When I was done with the tomato skins there was a tiny bit of powder inside the outer cover, but the only powder on the counter was there because I spilled it, not because it leaked from the grinder. I’m really happy with this grinder and I’m sure you will be too!

Iâve used this coffee grinder multiple times for my espresso machine. Overall, itâs a good coffee grinder. But I found that itâs difficult to aim for a certain level of ground. I have to pulsate on and off and then use a spatula to scrape and make sure everything is being grounded evenly. In most cases, I end up with very good espresso coffee, but in some cases, itâs either grounded too much or not enough.I also use this for cardamom seeds, where I remove the seeds from the pods and try to grind them. The blades were not strong enough to break the seeds.Besides the quality of the grinding, I found the machine to be incredibly loud. I know these machines can be loud, but I think there are ways to make it less so.Cleaning wise, the machine is very easy to clean as all the parts can be separated and washed.

I ordered this spice grinder as I love cooking and sometimes I need a quick solution to grinding grains such as pepper, annatto, seeds, etc and with this grinder I am able to do that very easily now. The size of the cups is adequate for the amounts you may put in your food and I like that they’re made out of glass as it becomes very easy to wash afterwards. I used to use a magic bullet for that and the plastic would end up getting stained specially if the spices had some oils in them. The motor does a great job at quickly grinding and depending on how fine or coarse you want your spices is the time you leave it on. This is also great to make condiments of different grains/spices for marinating meats or stuff like that. It is very practical in that sense and I am beyond satisfied with it.
