WONDERFUL!
I’ve have had these for quite a while now and I love them. I have read other reviews that indicate they are having difficulty with grounds, etc. when using the filters and the red k-cup. I just did an experiment with mine. I am not a strong coffee drinker so my coffee in the cup is less than those who say “fill” the filter with coffee. I just FILLED my filter with coffee and ran it through the 10 ounce setting. (I have the K55). I really was expecting some grounds and it seemed like while it was filling my cup that the machine sounded a tiny bit louder going through that much coffee grounds. However, I saw NO grounds in the red container at all and had two tiny pencil tip things in the bowl that I poured the coffee in. I was amazed. If drinking the cup of coffee, I would never have known they were there (too small). I also do tea. I cut open the tea bags (I drink herbal), pour loose tea in filter with red K cup and put in machine. Works great! I really love these and had looked at purchasing a black set made by another company, however, I noticed that this set did NOT have holes in the top or the bottom of the plastic container. I cancelled my order for them. These little cups are amazing. I love the little filters also. Clean easily and works great. Not sure what I do differently than those with issues with either the cup itself or the filters. Would not give them up. Great job Simple Cups with both the red plastic cup and the filters for it.

Wow! This is the ABSOLUTELY PERFECT answer to K-cup single-serve coffee as you like it. You can use your own coffee, filtering out the oils and getting maximum flavor, finish with the easiest cleanup for ANY of the K-cup-based systems while NOT polluting the environment in any way at all. I have literally tried every single alternative system there is for the K-cup brewer, and this is the best…hands down.Besides being sooooo easy to set up and use for everyone in the family, I love that this system allows me to pre-fill cups and keep them in my K-cup carousel. For us, it’s ease of use – We use them so quickly that there’s no time for the coffee to get “stale”, so that’s not the issue, but if the cups did hang around a little longer, the coffee is, in fact, protected enough to stay fresh for a couple of days.So, we are in heaven – we use our own freshly-ground coffee and get fabulous results with wonderfully easy cleanup that is environmentally-friendly. Can’t get better than that!

I’m concerned this may damage my machine.
The paper filter definable improves the taste of the coffee, prevents sediment from getting into cup and makes it much easier to clean out the reusable cup. Only concern I have is my Kurig will not allow all the water to pass through the filter, it seems like it is getting clogged somehow, and I am concerned that this may damage my machine. The plastic cup works fine without the paper filter, but the coffee does not taste as good and leaves some sediment in the bottom of my cup.

Great Hopes, Disappointing Failure
I recently received a Keurig K10 and a box of 18 single use K-cups of coffee as a gift. The single use K-cups worked fine, just like a TV commercial…..but these reusable cups…not so much.As a number of other folks rating this product 1 or 2 stars have commented, not all the hot water is making it into the reusable cup and water is bypassing it (and the coffee grounds) and dripping into my wide mouth coffee mug resulting in a weak mug of coffee. I can see a thin and weak colored stream of coffee exiting the funnel tip with clear water dripping out on both sides of the housing.The filters seem fine and I have not had any tear. The lid of the cup fits very loosely without the filter but sees to fit fine with the filter and with the filter filled with coffee grounds. I use a standard sized coffee scoop to add a single scoop of coffee grounds to the filter in the reusable cup, leaving it loose and not tamping down the grounds. The cup fits fine in the housing BUT I have had to gently force the handle down a number of times since the fit of the puncturing “spike” is not perfectly aligned with the hole in the lid. (Of note, the cross section of the spike is not circular whereas the hole in the lid is…think of a rectangular tab trying to fit into a round hole). UPDATE: while explaining and demonstrating the situation to my wife, as I lowered the handle I had to use more force than before to close the housing. When I raised the handle to open the housing, the lid of the reusable cup was GONE! Where was it? It was impaled on the spike and had been lifted up along with the upper housing. Sigh….two stars drops to one star (and the only time I’ve ever wanted to give a product ZERO stars).After looking at the whole setup, in addition to the poor fit of the spike into the lid I suspect the main cause is the reusable cup is not tall enough and that the rather beefy flexible seal around the base of the spike is not tight enough against the top of the lid allowing the pressure of the pump to force some hot water (1/3 to 1/2 on my machine) to “blow out” and spill over the sides of the reusable cup and not adding to the brewing process.I don’t see any way to easily correct this situation so I deem this product, at least in my machine, a FAIL.

Works great with my Keurig. It also saves me money when I buy my Gevalia in bulk, and use these disposable filters to make my coffee. I would recommend these disposable filters to anyone who brews their coffee via a Keurig, you can brew any brand of ground coffee when you want it. You are not limited to only those brands of coffee in K-cups.

We previously tried the Keurig one and it was spread out water and granularâs it was hard to clean. This is super easy to use and easy to dispose of into the green bin.

Easy to use. The filters work great. Remind your husbands to use a filter. It will work, but the lid is fitted for use with the filter. And without it, the lid will sit loosely on top and some grounds will escape into your coffee and into the machine. Filters can be purchased in stores and online.

The design is fantastic and the coffee turns out great but the plastic seems to not be very heat safe. The cups started out as circles but, after only 2 uses, they are all warped. Perhaps a different type of plastic would be better?

I love the idea of this product as we’ve always used our own ground coffee rather than single use pods BUT the water doesn’t go through these ones very well. Spills over sometimes in the cup sometimes on the counter or overflow tray. Tried putting in less and less coffee to the point of it being too weak. Any ideas on what we could be doing wrong?Love the easy clean up.

I wanted to be able to use ground coffee in my Keurig instead of those disposable pods. So I thought I would give the reusable cups and filters a try. They worked very good in my older style Keurig coffee machine. Am pleased with my purchase and the delivery was much quicker than I had expected. Will definitely be purchasing more filters.
