Part needs to be modified for MY K Cup pods.
If you only use regular K cups, this will work fine. Direct drop in replacement. However if you use the My K cup pod for your own coffee blend and use the presets on the screen, you will need to change the piece that slides at the very top. It looks winged. There appears to be an rfid tag inside this thing or something. Our machine would not recognize our My K cup, after switching part by part, this was the one that made it work again. maybe there is a recalibration I dont know about but dont toss your old one out right away. otherwise 1005 perfect fit and function.

Works like the original when it was new. Just remove the old, worn out assembly (its needle is too dull to puncture the bottom of the pod) and insert this assembly – voilà ! My coffee maker operates like new again!

It seems like this part tends to break more than I thought it would, as I just replaced said part in February of 2023 & had to replace it yet again; however, at just $24.99/Canadian, it is not too pricey, and gets my Keurig 2.0 up & running again in no time!! This part is the perfect fit for my coffee machine. The keurig 2.0 machines are discontinued so finding an actual brand name part was a bit difficult. So I ordered this to replace my needle for the 2.0 machine.My original stock needle kept leaving lots of grinds in my coffee. I cleaned my machine and put this in and I have less grinds now⦠but still someâ¦Hard to say if itâs the needle, or the machineâ¦. But either way it fit beautifully and ran a rinse cycle crystal clear.
