Customers say
Customers find the manual food mill grinder functional and attractive. They appreciate its classy appearance with a wood body and brass top. However, some find the wooden knob uncomfortable and create friction in their palms. Opinions vary on the grind quality.

very impressed
When I opened the box it was obvious whoever makes this is good, packaging was far better than I expected, not drinking coffee until tomorrow but wanted to try it out. Works Great! Even if you dont use it it is very decorative, comes with a very nice wooden scoop to put your coffee beans into the grinder. This will be on my Christmas present list for a few friends.

NICE!
I found the grind to be very consistent. Out of the box the grinder is set to the finest grind, but thatâs easily adjusted. The only thing I might say as a negative is that the bean chamber isnât set up to easily funnel beans into the grinder. Itâs a flat bottom, so beans donât funnel down into the grinder – they lay on the flat bottom. Thatâs a small thing, though – the other aspects of the device work VERY well. You need to hold on to the grind chamber tightly while grinding. The size of the bean chamber is quite large, so holding on to it can be a bit of a challenge at first. I found that by placing the grinder on a towel made it somewhat easier to grind a batch.All-in-all – I thought this grind device worked quite well. I highly recommend it.

Good but with room for improvement. Knob needs to spin.
This grinder hits every mark for me except one specific area. The knob on the grinder crank does not spin. This causes you to warm up your palm while grinding with some force and speed as the wooden knob is creating friction in your palm rather than rotating on an axis with the crank arm. If the knob rotated, then this would be a 10/10 product hands down.

Not functional
This item is way too wide. I am a woman but my hands are not that small at all and I can barely hold on to this when I need to grind my coffee⦠super inconvenient, it makes the job 10x harder than it should be! The second thing, the ground coffe collector at the bottom has a blastic ring that is suppose to help keep that compartment closed, which it does once you push down on in 10 times and try to adjust – so you donât end up with some ground coffee on the edges (which ends up spilling when you open the compartment to pour your ground coffee) – but anyhow, if you finally manage to close it well, good luck opening it when you are ready to pour your ground coffee. And guess what, you end up spilling some as well once you force to open the compartment. I mean, who the hell design this thing? You could have just added a screw in mechanism and done! Soo disappointed! The wood on the handle is alread wearing off by the way, and I have this for the past two months tops⦠itâs not meant to last for a very long time it looks like⦠I wouldnât recommend buying this at all!!! Find yourself another one!

Good product, but you might get tired of manually grinding
This is a good product and it looks nice. I have nothing bad to say about it. Word to the wise though: once the novelty wears off, you might get tired of manually grinding, if you are drinking more than one coffee a day.

Not for hand problems
Greatly enjoyed adjusting the grind. But had to return the arthritis in my hands made getting the base off nearly impossible and grinding was painful. Again only due to my physical limitations, would have kept it otherwise. Easy to use and clean. My 20 yr old daughter had no problems, but I am not going to ask her to make my coffee everyday.

Great first impression
We were impressed with this grinder. The wood body is nice and the brass top looks classy. Itâs a burr grinder and our first batch of grounds was extremely fine. Turned it back a click and it was great for a pour over. I havenât seen hand grinders do such fine grinding. The wood spoon and brush accessories are nice, too.
