The idea for this tea infuser is great! I love how well the ball part sits on the cat. Unfortunately the reviews about the ball being hard to open are true, and the chain comes off easily as well, as some said. I might try to diy some sort of solution.

Tea Ball came Stripped and Wouldnt Open
The cat smelled good, like almond or vanilla.But when I tried to open the tea ball, it wouldn’t open. It was stripped and refused to open which was very disappointing.

Doesn’t hold tea leaves well…
Okay, my other loose-leaf tea holder broke, the one that looked like a tong with a scoop on the end. Worked great all the time! Anyway, it broke and tea leaves kept sifting through, well my wife wanted a cut new on and this one looked promising. However, the opening for the water to go through is too big and also lets out loose tea leaves and small particles that just float through the larger circle holes. It’s not effective because not only do I have to make my tea with the loose-leaf holder that I just bought but have to resift my tea because it doesn’t hold all the loose-leaf tea in it. Annoying!

cute, chain is a little flimsy
This infuser is super cute and very useful that you can hold the ball on the cat. The chain for it is a little flimsy and have had to re-attach it a few times, but I guess that is expected. Wanted to comment on the reviews about not being able to open it. You have to twist it to open it, not pull it apart, so its a user error issue not a product issue for those.
