While many of our coffees make an excellent espresso, this is the first blend we created specifically for that most demanding method of preparation. With bold, rich flavors and a name that signifies strength, Peet’s Coffee Espresso Forte Dark Espresso Roast Coffee strikes the perfect balance between the earthy depth of coffee from the Indo-Pacific and the bright, lively spiciness that’s characteristic of the Americas. Everything we love in espresso, this blend has effusive aroma, stout body and luscious crema enveloping a tangy core of pure coffee flavor. Fortissimo.

Among my favorites.
I’ve returned to drip coffee at home. Whole beans, too.Pods are convenient, and the pod version of this blend coffee is okay. But grinding whole beans and making a fresh pot is so much better and more satisfying than any pod. I recently got a burr grinder (Oxo) and a drop maker (Braun). This blend was recommended to me years ago from a friend whose child from the West Coast raved about it. It was not readily available here at first, so he used to get it shipped to the East Coast. Now you see this brand in a lot of places. It is reliable. For those of us who like a dark and strong roast, this one is really satisfying. It is bold but not bitter. I’ve tried it in a French press and it was excellent. Now I am using a drip regularly. The Braun maker has a ‘gold’ setting that is rated/approved by a ‘specialty coffee association’. A combination of factors like water-to-coffee ratio, brewing temperature and brewing time – is supposed to brew an ideal cup. Whatever the specific details, I use that gold setting and attempt to measure properly – and the results are consistently very, very satisfying. Guests have commented, too.Major Dickason’s blend whole bean is a regular, go-to variety for me now.Pete’s French Roast is also very nice, but I like the Major even better. If you like a bold and strong brew, this should make you happy.

Iâm really pleased that Amazon has been delivering this coffee with expiration dates as far out as 7 months out. Previously, I was receiving coff from with expiration dates very close to my date of purchase. Perhaps many people complained because this doesnât seem to be a problem anymore. My recent purchases have been incredibly fresh, and I absolutely love the flavor!
