Happiness…
I read a bunch of reviews… a bunch… and this is the one I picked. Been using it for a couple weeks now and love it.So, I’m a barista. I have coffee gadgets galore. Hot ones, cold ones… I know how to make decent coffee. It’s actually not hard. Finding equipment that is easy to use and space saving is a treat. After a couple of weeks, I found the screen was easy to pop in & out(you just have to be gentle), even with arthritis. The silicone cleans easily with a hot rinse, and for deeper soaks, a tiny bit of vinegar water. (Try to avoid using soap as silicon absorbs scents) The screen is super fine, so the brew can go from Americana(course grind) to Cuban(super fine) instantly. The wide edge is another great feature. You can brew over the widest of mugs. Check your expresso cups, as it barely fit mine… any smaller and it would have spilled over the edge.As volume goes, its a big basket. You can brew for multiple people in one service. The hole makes it easier to spot your volume, and the silicone edge wasn’t too hot to lift while brewing. This was a winner for me.ð

Coffee Anyware
I am a coffee snob. I will not participate in bad coffee. Therefore, I am always prepared for a good coffee experience, no matter where I go. I had to find a method to make coffee that was light and portable, but still delivered the experience I was looking for. This unit made me a very happy coffee consumer and I had others ready to buy it as well. Backpacking coffee solved!

I use this every day at work!
I use this every day at work. It is a great product!Recipe: ~5min20 grams of ground coffeePour (205F water) to first line for bloomWait 30s (Stir a bit if you want better extraction)Pour to top once (205F Water)Wait for water to filter through groundsPour to top again (205F Water)Wait until water filters through groundsMakes a perfect strong cup of coffee every time. If you want an est. on 205F water just use an electric kettle. Turn it one wait until boil (212F). Pop it off and wait about 15-20 secs for the water too cool a bit. That works for me.

Useless as it doesnât drain at all
I was so happy to find a portable travel filter, and am absolutely devastated that itâs the most useless item Iâve ever purchased as it does not drain at all. Good idea, terrible execution

Broke right away
This broke the first time I tried to pop it out to use it – the filter part ripped off from the silicone body. I probably should have held the sides to expand it rather than push downward on the filter part, but I wasn’t particularly rough with it. Disappointing, but at least I can still stick a paper filter in there until I buy a better one.

Simple, low profile travel brewer
Is it as good as a Kalita Tsubame or an Orea? No, itâs not. But, it will travel WAY more easily and still provides a tasty brew. I brewed a nice washed Ethiopian and generally hit the notes as expected. I used a Kalita 155 filter and Hario Drip Assist. With that setup, you can make a solid pour over anywhere with any kettle and a small travel scale.

Good concept, not durable.
Love the idea of this, but it only last one camping trip. The screen mesh tore out.
