Gets the job done!
I ordered this coffee brewer because of currently having limited kitchen space. And of all the versions of this cup-top manual brewer, I liked the idea of the lid and water-measuring guide (though they are totally unnecessary). It’s easy and quick to use and clean up after.I have been using the water-guide most of the time. I think that it does concentrate the water flow, thereby causes the grinds to stay in a smaller area of the filter, and making a stronger brew. This style of brewing may require use of more grinds per cup, or switching to a stronger coffee, to get the perfect coffee strength to your taste – because it brews so quickly. Also, if you can brew your coffee into an insulated mug, it’ll make your hot coffee more enjoyable, longer.I have no complaints and recommend the product.

Nearly perfect. New convert to this brand.
This thing was well thought out. I was using a different brand with a more traditional style till the plastic cracked. This OXO is a time & effort saver. No more standing there for several minutes while pouring slowly, since the clear water tank allows me to walk away & do other things while it does the pour over for me. As the water tank just holds up to 12 ounces (plus maybe another ounce or so of space to the top rim), I do wait a few seconds till some water has drained through the grounds and add a little more. Then cover with the lid & leave till itâs done. My coffee cup holds at least 16 ounces, & I drink every bit of that. This is a time saver for rinsing too, compared to the old metal mesh style filter I had. I always needed to check that one for a few coffee grains that got stuck in the sides & make sure the faucet was somewhat forcefully hitting it. The new water tank doesnât need rinsing at all after this process, (unless you have enough grounds that they touch the bottom of the tank during the brew), & the white cup that holds the paper filter is a really fast rinse, since it has solid, streamlined sides with no mesh-holes. The only, only minor improvement I could imagine would be to allow the water tank to hold a few more ounces, but doesnât bother me since I found my little work-around. The plastic is thick & solid, & I donât expect cracks to shorten itâs lifespan. Love it.Edited to add: If youâre not crazy about adding paper filters to landfills, I found compostable #2 cone filters on this site made by âIf You Careâ, I think was the name of the brand. Some reviews say theyâre weak & let coffee grounds through, but apparently not if you fold the two seamed edges real quick as the instructions say. I just ordered some, & the wait is like a month, so will have to use regular ones from the grocery store till then.Update, 12/â22: Itâs still great. Use it daily. I realized later that this setup may not seem any better than just a fully automated bean-grinding drip coffee-maker to some, but it actually is, because 1) thereâs never any descaling to worry about or parts to seriously clean, 2) the footprint is very small & takes up minimal space on your countertop, 3) no need for electrical power, & 4) you get total control taste-wise over your joe. And itâs completely quiet. : ) Still ordering & using the If You Care brand compostable paper filters in it, and they havenât ever leaked grounds for me. I donât even need to fold the seems as instructions suggested.Overall a good morning routine.2nd update, 8/â23:Still using it daily; still no cracks or problems; using the same compostable filters; still love.: )

another good option
I am a bit of a coffee aficionado, not overly picky, but enjoy the aroma and taste of various coffees. We have a Lavazza Blue machine for espresso, a Keurig K cup machine for convenience, and a Gaggia combo coffee bean grinder/espresso maker. I drink my coffee black, my wifwadds cream to her espresso. I used a french press, but did not like the time involved and the clean up. I get enjoyable coffee from all 3 methods. My OXO Single Pour Over arrived today. I used ground Lafazza Espresso coffee. Outstanding coffee. 5 stars for ease of use, ease of clean up, less than 2 minutes for 8oz cup, pleasing aroma and most important, an outstanding flavorful cup of coffee. A great product.

Convenient and easy
I have been making pour over coffee for a year or two as break from using electric coffee maker. I find it great to control amount of water and how many tablespoons coffee to make just a single cup ; itâs fun to experiment to get theârightâ combination -you pour water not directly on coffee in plastic holder , but through transparent plastic âfunnelâ with 9 small holes so water drips more evenly onto while area of coffee inFilter – Coffee is delicious and so fast . Try it – fun and more control than regular electric maker .

Cost effective, convenient and good joe
This is by far the best coffee gear investment I have made. I hardly use my Aeroress anymore. This device is simple to set up and creates consistent brew. The coffee is not m espresso but definitely stronger than most drips, similar to French press but smoother. Just measure grinds, boil water and you are set. No fancy spout or hardware.

EASY PEASY
This is a real easy and quick way to make coffee for us that are new to coffee making, or anyone really. I like it because there is minimum clean up, and no coffee machines to maintain. Water goes thru the cup very quickly if you wet the filter before pouring water over the coffee. Using medium coarse grind coffee works best. The coffee tastes good, and stays hot. I use a small thermos, or even an insulated paper cup when making mine, instead of a regular coffee mug. Perfect for travel too.

I would recommend this product for anyone who only wants to make an easy single cup of coffee. It is such an easy process, as well as an easy clean up with the coffee beans. The plastic is sturdy and BPA free. The only complaint i have is the price, it’s a good purchase and investment but it is defiantly not worth $50, at most it’s $30.Overall, great purchase!

Magnifiqie!
