Amazing little product
This is a great product. I bought as a test keg for my 5 gallon home brews. It is much easier to force carbonate a small batch to test the final beer before bottling than bottle a whole 5 gallons that doesn’t turn out.While this product is significantly cheaper than the most common 1 gallon keg on the market, the construction seems solid, functionality is perfect and I actually really like the black powder coated look. I haven’t used it to transport beer, so I can’t speak for the ability to keep beer cold over time, but I would guess it is not ideal for that.It fits in my fridge well, a bit tall but with some reconfiguration it was no problem. The one issue I had was that the instruction were incorrect on the orientation of the valve. It is marked correctly on the valve itself, but the instructions list the wrong direction on closing the valve.All in all, highly recommend this product.

The perfect way to serve beer at home, with a system that works well.
This is the first pressurized growler Iâve bought, and after a lot of researching other products I decided on this one. It had consistently good reviews and the measurements matched those of my refrigerator. The fact that I could open the tank without losing the remaining CO2 in the cartridge was important too. When I received it and looked over the components I was impressed with the quality that I saw. The hose that was included for delivering the beer was long enough to make two spare ones if necessary.After initial cleaning and assembly I filled the tank with beer and attached the spear, CO2 holder and valve, and tap. After reading about various experiences with other products I was expecting to have a learning curve to get the CO2 adjusted correctly and waste some in the process, as well as getting foamy beer. But it all just worked perfectly. The CO2 was set a little too low at first, but a quick adjustment fixed that. It delivered two 20 oz glasses without an excessive head. So far I am very pleased, and canât wait to show it off to my friends.I’ve added a photo showing how the mini-keg fits in the refrigerator door with 17″ vertical space. The drip catcher is a bird cage food cup with hooks on its back side, which are hooked over a bungee cord around the keg. A paper towel in the cup prevents splashes.

8 Pints of Beer That Lasts For Days
So far this thing has been great. Super easy to assemble, holds pressure well and feels well made.Perfect if you’re like me and only fill growlers after having 3 beers at the brewery, then get home and realize you’re not in college anymore and don’t have it in you to drink another 4-8 beers, so you just have half of one, fall asleep watching the rest of the Blazers game, and the rest of the traditional growler goes flat by the next day.This thing solves that problem perfectly. Beer stays carbonated for at least 3-4 days (Haven’t had the contents last longer than that) and it will fit in the side door of our fridge.My only complaint and the reason I’m giving 4 starts instead of 5, is that I ordered the Matte Black version, but received the stainless steel one. Not the end of the world by any means, and I’m sure I could have returned it and gotten the black one if I weren’t so impatient to fill it up.

Perfect option for your home bar!
This product is fantastic! Was looking for something to put in my home bar, but didnât want to invest in purchasing a large kegerator. Was going to be too big and wouldnât offer me a variety of beer options. I decided this was a perfect fit. Portable, easy to use and clean, can regulate the pressure and allowed me options to offer different varieties of beers from my local breweries for my guests! Yes I purchased multiple kegs. I can take it to the many breweries in my area and always have a rotating option of beers. This unit fits perfect in my fridge at my home bar and pours directly from there. Didnât have to purchase a kegerator and take up more space. I donât have to lug heavy kegs and have to purchase large canisters of CO2. If you want flexibility in offering draft beers, this is an absolute awesome solution. Keeps my beer super fresh! When I take this mini keg to the breweries, I always get commented on the unit and they want to know how to purchase! If youâre looking for some flexibility options in finding a solution for having fresh draft beer, this is it!

Improved and awesome gift
Time will tell its quality. But i researched this item extensively and this upgraded model was the one to get. The matte black will not scratch and looks stylish. The feature that sold us on it was the detachable spout and regulator yet stays pressurized (can stay on and shorter than previous model; they have regulator etc coming off side vs top and is now detachable as well if choose). Purchased commercial cleaning tablets to clean inside. Size will fit on its side on shelf or standing on refrig door. Keeps brewery beer fresh longer so sont have to drink in a couple days after opening.

Really cool item and easy to use!
Really cool item! The first one I bought was used and did not keep pressure. I returned it to Amazon and got a new one and it is perfect! So far I have used it to force carbonate a gallon of homemade mango still wine. I plan to do a lot of experiments with this keg. The size is also pretty convenient! It fits in my fridge in just a little more space than a 2 liter takes up. With the handle standing up it doesn’t clear the shelf so I just screwed it on at a slight angle and perfect! Highly recommend as an affordable first step into learning and kegging and creating sparkling wines without investing in an expensive setup!

Robust tapping mechanism with standard keg
This is my second Nutrichef keg I bought for my homebrew hobby. The keg is standard and it is easy to buy additional ones without the tap. The tapping mechanism and pressure regulator are robust, and worked well on the first try. A bonus is that it comes with additional seals, thatâs why I decided to standardize on this little tap.

All of the components are of high quality. No burrs or manufacturing defects. Threads are perfect. The extra seals and o-rings are a nice touch.Requires a little bit of trial and error to get the perfect pour, but otherwise I love the unit. When I first received it, I put 3 litres of flat home brew cider in, cranked up the pressure to max and waited 3 days. Sure enough, it did a great job of carbonating the cider.As for purchased beer, it works great. It really does keep the beer fresh for quite a while. I haven’t had a problem yet getting it filled at breweries.Super happy with the unit.

The product that I received has the same issues as outlined by Stevie T. who’s review is dated 27 October 2020.The valve that is pushed in by the Tap sometimes gets stuck in at an angle. When the tap is attached, by being screwed on, this problem reduces beer flow, but it also means that when you come to take the tap off under pressure, beer just flows out until an object to pry it back straight is applied to it, and then the valve subsequently pops back out.I asked for a new tap spear the same as Stevie T received to resolve the problem, however I wasn’t sent one but instead the sellers requested a return/refund of the item. Unfortunately I paid over £140 in total, but the refund only offered £102, so this wasn’t a good deal for me. As such I am stuck with an item that doesn’t work as advertised because the tap can’t be removed without losing beer, and the pressure of the beer coming out the tap is very low regardless of the amount of CO2 in the keg.I’m not happy with the fault, or the customer service. Other customers may get lucky and receive an item that doesn’t have a faulty valve, but that’s not the luck of the draw for me.

Amazing little keg. Fits right in my fridge High quality components, and Amazing powder coated look, simple, sleek, and beautiful – no annoying advertising all over the kit – just simple and beautiful and minimalistic. The tap is very high quality and can fit other keg taps. All components fit, and even comes with washers incase of wear and tear in the future. All in all VERY satisfied with my purchase 10/10 – I might even get another one.
