Excellent coffee maker.
I’m very happy with this Ninja coffee maker and I’m actually glad that my Keurig broke. I can use k cup pod or ground coffee and I have done both. Great item. I got this after my Keurig stopped working and I’m so glad I did. My coffee brews so much better with this, and with how much hotter the water gets. Prior to the Keurig breaking I opened one of the k cups after brewing and there were unused grounds in the pod, I could see and feel that some of grounds weren’t wet. That doesn’t happen with the Ninja, all the grounds are used and you tell by the taste of the coffee.I really like the Sand color, and I’m happy with the size of the maker. The water carafe reservoir is sized well. I like the options for how strong you can brew along with selecting how many ounces. Auto shut is nice as well. I also like the “onboard” storage items, nothing to get lost when not using those items. The Ninja coffee maker is made well. Feels like a much sturdier plastic was used than the Keurig, feels more high end. And the price was great. I’m actually glad my Keurig broke because ended up a a far better force maker.

This coffee maker and I are in a love affair.
As my bf has said over the past week you “you and that coffee pot are having a love affair”, and it’s true. Over the past week I have experienced nothing but Java bliss. I have owned several coffee makers, including several brands, and styles (pot vs k cup). This makes the best coffee I have ever had at home. My bf has the big version of the ninja coffee maker and after drinking coffee at his house I just couldn’t stomach the cup my kuerig made anymore. I’m starting to ramble so I’ll get to the point lolPros:â I love all the options, 6oz to 24 oz. Basket or k cup. I personally love to use the basket, 3 Tbsp of ground coffee on the “rich” style for 18 oz. It’s perfect.â Im a black coffee drinker, I didn’t think I’d use the frother much, I mainly got it so my bf can use it when he likes but I’m finding it equally amazing. It just adds a touch of luxury to your cup and feels really special to have cold foam over your coffee at home on Saturday morning while sitting around in your pj’s. Cue “petite fleur” – Jill Barberâ I LOVE how big the water reservoir is, I’m checking it all the time cause I can’t believe that it’s still got water in it. It’s no nice.â THE STORAGE!!!! ð I am so grateful they designed storage in this unit. No more random tablespoon laying around designated for coffee ground, or little parts and pieces just cuttering up the drawer or cabinet. There’s a little drawer in the maker that the extra attachments, and plunger are stored in. (yes theres a plunger for maintenance- they really thought of everything) it also has a cleaning button which I love the idea of but have not used it yet.â it’s sleek. It looks good on the counter and for the price and what it does, it’s worth every penny. I am the happiest customer.Cons:â Size: I wish that the coffee maker was a little wider and less long. It sticks out into the counter more than I’d like but with everything she ticks, I’ll take it, happily. It fit under the cabinets fine but when I use it I have to pull it out a bit so the lid can open all the way cause she’s a little tall. I also have a small apartment kitchen. So someone with more counter space or modern cabinetry I’m sure wouldn’t have a problem.â You may be so in love with this coffee maker, you’ll be telling everyone you know about it, how great it is, and that they need one in their life, which may result in being razzed a bit. Conclusion: life is too short to make coffee at home you wouldn’t be happy purchasing from an establishment. Get the frigging coffee maker.

Great Coffee Maker w/Surprising Features
After attempting to replace our 4-year old Keurig Mini with a newer version of the same unit, and receiving two units in a row that would shut off multiple times while attempting to make a single cup, we looked for another product that would handle the k-cups and still have a relatively small footprint on our counter top.The Ninja Pod & Grounds model looked the most promising – and it has turned out to be a great choice.Using the Ninja Pod & Grounds, we have made excellent coffee via commercial k-pods, reusable k-pods, and with grounds directly in the “permanent” filter basket. While the k-cup method and the grounds method both work very well, the grounds in the filter basket may become our favorite method. The Ninja Pod & Grounds has some unexpected and wonderful features. There is a calibration cycle to allow the unit to self-adjust for higher elevations. The calibration cycle only needs to be run once, takes minimal time, and optimizes performance of the brewing cycle. As we live at nearly 6,000 feet elevation, this was a very pleasant surprise. Without this calibration the unit would attempt to reach water temperatures that are not physically possible here, and produce much unnecessary steam in the process. The cleaning cycle does not require the user to buy specialty products. All it takes is readily-available white vinegar and water. This feature lowers operating costs and greatly simplifies the process. The sounds made by the the unit during brewing are not obnoxious or overly loud. The brewing cycle has a pause to allow for the grounds to “bloom” prior to receiving the majority of the heated water. The resulting cup of coffee is quite good.Following the operating instructions, we have not experienced a dripping problem that some reviewers have mentioned. It may be the simple act of popping the top open a few seconds prior to removing the newly filled cup that allows the last few drops to complete. The water reservoir is easy to handle, seals without any leakage, and has sufficient capacity to make several 8-ounce cups prior to needing re-filling.The built-in storage is very handy, allowing the measuring spoon to be out of the way but always present, and the alternate adapter (either the k-cup adapter or the “permanent” filter basket) to be tucked away but always findable. The adjustable cup tray helps to keep the work area clean by positioning the receiving cup/tumber/etc at an optimal height to avoid splashing. The frother works as advertised. We have not historically needed/used a frother but having one might lead us to experimenting with our morning coffee. Guests might appreciate that capability too.Overall, we are very pleased with this unit and confidently can recommend it to others.

I love the slim design of this coffee maker. I wanted something that would accommodate K-cups. I found them messy with the plastic cups but the ones that are mesh brew better than the name brand coffee maker. The coffee comes out rich and delicious, not watery. It’s adjustable and provides a variety of coffee functions. It also sits better on the counter due to the slim rather than wide design.

Amazon Customer –
The coffee machine is very good but beware in Britain the voltage for the machine is 120 volts and in Britain we are 240 volt. To return the machine is very costly, the cost of sending mine back was around £60. Amazon don’t want to know about returning the machine, they just send you a label to print off and that’s it. I can’t understand why Amazon sell items on the market place that don’t comply with British voltage.

The Ninja beats Keurig…hands down! The machine is much easier to use, the coffee is hotter and tastes much better. Would recommend this coffee maker to anyone.
