Customers say

Customers find the coffee filter works well, is easy to use, and allows them to use their favorite coffee. The adhesion and sealing performance receive mixed feedback – while some say it holds up well and seals properly, others report poor adhesion and water leaks. The money-saving aspect also divides opinions, with some considering it a money saver while others find it a waste of money.

    Superior My-Cap for Verismo Pods
After using 100 Foil Seals to Reuse Your Starbucks Verismo Pods, CBTL and Caffitaly Capsules by My-Cap, I found that during use, the cap would often stretch out and I worried about what would happen if it failed. This cap has not had any of the stretching problems of the other model and is also easier to remove from the sheet. The adhesive is not overly strong, so I recommend only loading the pods a day or two in advance — if you try to load a weeks worth, after a few days there is a chance the cap will lose its stickiness and not remain firmly on the pod. A great product, and a real money-saver, since the price of Versimo pods at Starbucks is still in the neighborhood of $40/pound of coffee.

    Needs better adhesive. More rigidity.
First, I went through a couple of the caps learning that the surface of the cup MUST be spotless and super smooth. I had to use a knife blade to scrape the entire ring surface super flat and clean, then was able to get the cap to stick. But I think it needs a “thicker” layer of glue to stick even if there’s a speck of something on the ring.Second, the spikes barely penetraded the foil cap. I think because it is so flexible, it gives way when the spike is pressing on it, instead of getting punctured easily. The result is the puncture holes were very tiny and the Keurig was not able to pass a high volume of steam through it. So, maybe a “filter paper” like cap would be better. Then steam would pass even without puncture. Yes, I’ll take credit for this new improvement. Just pass me $0.01 per pod sold… 🙂

Not worth buying; inconsistent and sometimes disastrous results.
I have to agree with the number one reviewer, not enough adhesive to keep these working. Additionally for me I have discovered that many of them don’t have enough adhesion to even stick momentarily let alone during the brewing process. I had better luck going to Home Depot and buying some aluminum tape, and making my own caps. They work perfectly. I will never buy this product again

    Work fine, gives me choices
I bought these because I was told the Rivo pods were going away. I can’t confirm that statement. However, I now can put in whatever coffee roast I wish and don’t have to buy a whole box. I make only a couple of de-caf pods and use various brands of regular for others. It saves me a lot of money. They are simple to use and work well.

    Too much trouble to use
The caps appear to be good quality but getting the “cups” ready to recap is such a chore i just gave up after struggling too long. The old seals do not come off at all easily and it’s necessary to dig out the used coffee which ends up all over the place! The savings are just not worth the trouble. I should have returned them since I never opened them after deciding it was not going to work for me.

Awesome for the Verissimo Coffee Maker.
I was hesitant to purchase this for my new Verissimo (the only setback to this wonderful coffee maker is the price of the darn coffee pods) since the reviews are extremist, i had to figure it out on my own and so far I have had two delicious expresso coffees after refilling the old coffee pods and sealing them with My Cap Foils. I have to tell you it only works w the expresso coffee pods, I had one of the pods refilled w ‘Pikes Place’ and the coffee did not came out well, it was more like dark tea than coffee..but the expresso pods come w a plastic iner lid that I place back before sealing the My Cap Foils and it just does its thing wonderfully. I couldn’t be happier.
