Donât rush it
If you try to go quickly, this item will not. If you go show to seal it, it works like a charm. Great for keeping opened plastic bags fresh! I had to sometimes double check my work because one part didnât seal correctly, but thatâs user error. Even comes with batteries! Recommended.

Not what I expected
This didn’t work for me like expected. I used it a few times and it stopped working. Then it got stuck and I tried to get it unstuck and it burnt my fingers. I didn’t want to break it so I just didn’t mess with it anymore. I was really disappointed with it. 🙁

Works okay for foil bags
It’s not awful, but it doesn’t work great. The heat seams to burn through even foil bags (potato chips, etc) pretty easily. Hard to get a good seal. Seems like a long one that would do the whole bag in one press would work better.Still, okay for occassional use to keep stuff you don’t eat much fresher. Way too much trouble to use daily.

What a nifty little gadget
I love gadgets. Especially when they’re useful, don’t take up a lot of space in a drawer or you don’t have to put it in a drawer at all because you can hang it up or use the magnet on it, work well, and are easy to use. This is all of the above. It’s so easy to use on all kinds of different packaging and helps preserve my food. I can now open a pack of cookies or chips and then reseal it to prevent them from getting stale! I would have preferred it if it were rechargeable, but that’s just me being nitpicky.You know what else I think is great to use this for? Kibble or treats for my dog. They often come in those bags with the “resealable” zip thing on it, but it breaks super easily and then what are you going to do? Use this! I use this to reseal the bag after I refill her bowl and then she she needs more I can cut it open with the attached blade and then repeat the process until the bag is empty. It’s great and I don’t have to look for some other container to put her food or treats in.

Used the prduct to seal bags. Its supposed to seal bags up to 3mm. I would suggest never going over 2mm. Maybe good for sealing chip bags but thats about it. The hinge on it comes apart so easily….tooo easily

Didn’t Even Work, Waste of Money 🙁
As a constant tortilla chip buyer I thought that this would be an excellent addition to my kitchen tool set. I couldn’t have been more wrong when I tried it for the first time today. I followed all the instructions and when it came down to resealing my tortilla chip bag, it didn’t work :(. I tried waiting it out and still got nothing out of it. My only mistake was not trying this out as soon as I got it in the mail. Instead I waited until I had an opportunity to use it which was a few days past the return window. If only I had tried it sooner, I could have returned this and used my money on something that actually works. This was probably my most disappointing kitchen related purchase thus far. The only thing it’s good for now is to be used as a box opener with the knife side.
