Handy Resealing Device
This device is a handheld bag sealer/cutter that can be used on the polymer-design of potato chip bags, as well vacuu-sealer style plastic bags. The item allows you to cleanly cut open your bags, and then reseal them using the heating component.Bear in mind, this device is not a portable vacuu-sealer unto itself, as it has no air pump mechanism. It simply offers the option to reseal the bag so you can perserve the content for a few more hours, up to a couple days.It has a rechargeable battery, with a USB-C port on the device and a USB-C to USB-A charging cable is included in the package. You’ll need a plug adapter, which is not included, in order to use a standard wall outlet or the older cigarette lighter car adapter, if you don’t have USB-A ports built into your automobile. It seems to hold its charge for about a week, with limited usage.It’s certainly a convenient item to have, for those who want to take their food items on the go and be able to keep them sealed up and not spilling crumbs everywhere.For only $9, it seems extremely reasonably priced, assuming it will last for a few years.

I’m willing to admit the issues might be user error, but I haven’t been very successful using this thing.I was hoping to be able to reseal snack bags, but it seems like most of the time the thing ends up melting straight through the bag. Maybe I’m moving too slow? If I try to move faster to avoid the melting then I end up with sporadic seals with gaps.The cutter didn’t work much better for me. No matter which side of the bag I started on, the blade would always catch on the bag seam and create a random tear down the middle of the bag.I tried this on 3 or 4 different snack bags and basically gave up. Maybe one day I’ll give it another try when I not so frustrated, but for now I’ll just stick to using binder or chip clips.

This sealer works but is a little ackward
Depending on which type of plastic bag you are resealing, this either works quite well or not at all.For very thin plastic, it burns holes very quickly.Wrinkled plastic is difficult to get the sealing started.Actually, most sealing seems difficult to get started.Some bags seal great.Its hit or miss.

Rechargeable battery, built-in cutting blade, instant warm-up
Works on food plastic bags as well as small clear plastic bags. You can use a slide-out built-in blade to re-open a sealed bag. On top there are 3 buttons: power on/off, squeeze heat jaws and slide the blade down. Case bottom is magnetic so you can stick it to a fridge wall once you are done re-sealing. It works great, but you need to master the speed of moving the bag through the jaws and the force of squeezing the jaws. Ideally it should seal and cut away the unsealed bag margin. It is recharged via USB-C port, cable is included.

Good Sealer and cutter.
This is a decent and small bag sealer. It does what it is intends to do when it comes to sealing the bags. When it comes to bigger bags that require a deeper seal, this seems to have a little issue unless you cut it closer. It can be charged via USB-C. It also comes with a magnet that you can stick to your fridge.
