CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP, BUT WORKS GREAT!!!!
It is cheaply made, but it works great! It is best suited for non-professional use, although if I were in business I would have one of these as a backup. For personal use it’s perfect. Does a great job with sealing, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I would have to give it 5 stars!

Super easy to use. The seal is quite strong. And it’s fast. It fits easily anywhere. Quality and durability is superb. I haven’t tried thick sheets but it seems like it’ll handle just fine. Very sturdy utility. The thickness of the plastic it can handle is undetermined

Been using this for my mylar bags (5″ wide and 6″ wide). Works great! Super easy to use. It’s great that you get an adjustment knob to control how long it takes to seal. For the mylar bags I use, it takes maybe half to a full second to fully seal. Very happy so far. None of the seals have opened up accidentally.Product is overall durable and well built. I don’t see it breaking easily.Let’s see how long it takes for me to have to replace the heating strip.

Inexpensive heat sealer that works great.
I appreciated that this heat sealer was inexpensive and easy to use. There is only one knob to turn the heat up or down and once you find the right setting it’s very easy. Great for sealing cookie bags however it’s imperative that you hold the bags in the heat sealer for a few seconds after the heat is off to cool down or else the plastic can get stringy.

I started at 3 and held it for 5 seconds after the red light went out and perfect seal. Nice product, it even came with an extra metal band.

Right out of the box it would not work. I removed the screws and sure enough the wire filament was not connected. Followed the instructions. Got it connected. Put everything back together. Works great!!

Worked the first time….
I purchased this alongside several other devices for use in a rather complex experiment.Per standards: it arrived, I tested it, success!Sadly, I was forced to postpone the project, so I placed it alongside the other pieces of equipment, in temperature-controlled storage, for later.Later arrives, I’m excited to start the project! I was concerned about the durability of some of the more time-sensitive and delicate items. All of which held up!!….Everything was ready and working!…Except the sealer…..Very sad. I went to use it, never came on. I don’t mean the light never came on. I mean the heating element never engaged period. Wiring looked solid, connections flush. Attempted several different outlets, eliminated that as a potential issue. Just a short in the chip itself or something. Wish I had more to say about it but *shrugs*. Can’t tell you anything other than what I experienced.

Good for pressure cooked plastic bags
Works great for 4 and 6 mil thick backs after 15 psi. Do mind the settings as high heat can create holes. It takes some time to find the correct setting.

Seals very well, uses not a lot of power. I was able to conduct a good test using one of my solar generators. It’s harvest time so it will be seeing a lot of use – right out in the garden, even! I just wish the lever had a clip to keep it secure when in storage.
