Great Funnel
This funnel fits perfectly with my Breville unit and helps keep the grinding mess down. You can even tamp with the filter still on there. The mesh filter disk is a different story. I get that itâs supposed to make a better more consistent shot, but I think the extra step for cleanup is more pain than itâs worth. For the price, the funnel is excellent though, so having the filter disk option is nice anyway.

The funnel does not adhere well to the basic breville portafilter. It kind of jumps around but it does get the job done for the most part. When I got the KNODOS portafilter delivered, that one adhered so much better but unfortunately, I didn’t like the bottomless portafilter. The puck screen is great! no complaints whatsoever, just make sure the flat side is facing upwards because I’d be lying if I said I did this at first. I was so confused why it wasn’t going in the machine but then I realized it was a total blonde moment.

Poor fit
We have the KNODOS Bottomless Portefilter which is nice, but this fits very loosely – even on their own Portefilter. Also – it’s frustrating that it only fits in 1 direction, instead of designing a universal fit that would allow any one of the dog-ears to operate the grinder function. This one has to be on exactly right or it wont fit into the grinder.

This perfectly fits the Sage Bambino Plus portafilter and it sits nicely in the Sage grinder whether or not you change out the holder in the grinder to the larger holder. This feels good, sturdy and looks nice. I much prefer it to a cheaper plastic one I got (that didnât fit in the Sage grinder at all and had to send back). It makes using a WDT very easy and mess free and I can also use it with my Motta tamper.I have shown this with the standard Sage portafilter as well as the Pesado bottomless portafilter that I use. Fits both perfectly well and you can still use the automatic button on the sage grinder if you have that grinder.If you have the Sage grinder and use a bottomless portafilter then it sits a lot better in the smaller grinder holder attachments.

Fits perfectly on my stock Sage Dual Boiler portafilter and on a aftermarket naked portafilter. A good flat edge prevents any grinds escaping when running my de-clumping needles during puck prep.The screen is good, if you position it smooth side down then it doesnât get clogged and is easy to clean. I have stopped using it, not because it there was anything wrong with it, but because I switched to paper screens as I didnât like having to fish out the screen when it fell out into the knock box. Paper is just easier and cleaner, but this one does work.
