The knock box is a high-quality molded plastic. Filter slot holds 2 filters, and the tamper and distributor fit just fine. My Breville portafilter fits just fine with the understanding that the individual type, size, and weight will result in a different level hold or not in the holder slot. What this means is that I merely hold onto the portafilter handle while tamping. Only addition I’d have liked is for a hole to fit the IKAPE WDT tool I bought later. It is just slightly wider at the tool’s base to fit into one of the two holes in the back (I use the other for a small, single pump water bottle). I keep the WDT in its case and some other objects in the knock box when I’m not making espresso. Easy button solution.

Much smoother espressos for sure after using this. I noticed a big difference. A smidge pricey for what it is is but it does the job so I can’t complain.

Good Fit for La Pavoni
Fits nicely in my La Pavoni Europiccola double basket. I also appreciate that it’s made of a material that is magnetic so by using a small (but powerful) magnet I can easily separate the puck screen from the coffee puck while still in the portafilter. Easy to clean as well. I would buy it again.
