Really big, keeps tea really hot a long time
Great mug, although it’s quite large. When using the lid, it will keep hot tea at temperature for well over an hour. The handle makes it very easy to hold even when completely full. Great value, too. It’s become my new favorite tea mug. For what it’s worth, I’ve had no leakage problems, but I’m not using this mug for travel, just my home office.

Nice coffee mug
I use this mug regularly for my morning latte. It is the perfect size for my needs. It keeps coffee warm long enough for my needs. It also fits my hand very comfortably. The lid fits solidly and prevents major spills. I would have given 5 stars, but the lid has a sliding closure that is very difficult to clean as it does not come apart. This concerns me as it provides a home for bacteria and other bad things. I spray it with foam soap after each use, but this is a flaw that could be corrected with a mag slider like Yeti uses.

Very well-designed mug with fantastic insulation
This is without a doubt the best mug I have ever owned. It is well built, feels very solid all around, and the insulation is incredible. If I keep the lid on, a hot drink poured in the morning will stay warm all day and the outside surface never gets hot.The lid is rubberized and grips well, enough that it definitely won’t come off on its own while still being relatively easy to open with a small tab sticking out.The underside is slightly grippy, enough that the mug won’t slide on a marble countertop or glass table, and similarly the handle coating has enough friction that the mug won’t tip and spill even if you have wet hands.The lid can be taken apart in two pieces and put back for cleaning, and there aren’t any places that are hard to clean or where food would stay stuck.The only “downside” I would call out is that the mug does not fully seal even with the lid closed, there is still a small gap where liquid can flow through. This means you cannot use it as a small alternative to an insulated water bottle: do not place it in a travel bag with liquid inside, the “closed” lid only protects from spills when you walk to a different room with the mug, it will not hold its contents while traveling.In summary: this mug was clearly designed with great attention to detail, and its insulation is like no other. I wish I had bought one earlier.

Comfortable to hold, keeps coffee hot for a couple hours
This is a review of Hydro Flask Stainless Steel Reusable Mug – Vacuum Insulated, BPA-Free, Non-ToxicI really love this 12 ounce Hydro flask insulated mug. The coating of the outside of the mug is kind of soft feeling and when you put it on a hard surface it doesn’t clink like something that would just be plain metal.I also like the way that the spout opens and closes on the top. Although the spout cover is not leak proof, that doesn’t bother me because this is a coffee mug, and I don’t normally place a coffee mug on its side.I also like the rounded handle which is very comfortable to put my fingers through and whether you put two or three fingers through it then you can use your little finger or second finger to sort of go underneath it and support the mug.My only minor issue is that they recommend that you hand wash this and I think that’s probably to protect the finish on the mug. I really like the look of the mug and I don’t want to risk it so I will hand wash this, and that’s not that big of a deal.My Ninja coffee make brews coffee at 177°. I’ve measured the temperature using a digital thermometer and an hour later the mug still keeps my coffee about 150 to 155°. An hour after that it’s still warm enough to be comfortable drinking but not what I would call tepid. So this basically keeps my coffee hot for two hours which is awesome. I like the different colors that this is available in. I think it’s a solid purchase.
