From someone who has never liked a coffee he has tried.
What I’d like to explain is I’ve tried many, many different companies and roast levels of coffee and had never found one I liked. Tried these on a whim because I’m trying to find an alternative to soda for caffeine and hot chocolate when hunting.Sumatra blend was flavorful and could easily taste the earthy flavors but had an aftertaste that seemed bitter to me though a little sugar easily got rid of it. A friend of mine suggested it’s due to it being the dark roast and went to one of the lighter samples and much better. To be honest if your a cigar smoker you will love this coffee.Kenya was good you can smell the wheat and taste the chocolate easily enough. I liked adding a small amount of creamer and powdered peanut butter to this one.Rwanda was interesting, if you dont like ginger you may not like this one as you taste it first and foremost. A little honey help balance the flavors and bring the caramel and brown sugar forward more but you will still taste the ginger.Ethiopian was a shock to the mind. Its essentially tea, I love tea so I dont mind it but I was expecting coffee. It’s still very good and flavorful but you taste everything but coffee.

I always get my dad and step-mom a coffee sampler for Christmas as they are avid coffee drinkers. This was the sampler I gifted them for Christmas 2022 and they have been raving about each of the blends as soon as they try each one! From the reviews they have given me, I would say this coffee is very high quality with delicious tastes and aromas.I would definitely recommend this for any coffee lover – whether it be for yourself or given as a gift, you canât go wrong!

Earned a repeat customer
Cooper’s Coffee Company has earned a repeat customer in me for their medium and dark blends. All three of them in this box were very tasty and complex. The only one of the four coffees that I didn’t really care for was the light roast Ethiopian. It was too floral for me and I’m not a fan of floral notes in my coffee. Of the medium/dark roasts, the Rwanda and Sumatra topped my list, with the Sumatra coming out ahead because of its complexity. I could taste everything listed on the front of the Sumatra package: Woody earth, dark chocolate, tobacco, and dark cherry. It sounds weird but tastes delicious. I paused with every sip to enjoy the flavors bursting over my tongue. Can’t wait for more!

I sent this coffee out for Christmas gifts so haven’t got a chance to taste it myself…but I will say, when my order didn’t arrive as expected…customer service was excellent! I would definitely order again. Can’t wait to try this coffee myself!

I am a big coffee drinker and I was totally disappointed by these four single origin coffees.I brewed myself and others various grind sizes on espresso machine, bialetti moka pot as well as french press. Each time there was close to no aroma or specific flavour compared to other speciality coffee beans. Moreover, the other speciality coffee beans I usually buy from my city are twice cheaper.I consider these beans highly overpriced for what they can offer!One of the few if not the only interesting feeling I had was a propolis-like aftertaste for the Sumatra which I suppose is due to the ginger hints.In conclusion, I do not recommend these beans because one can find much better taste and aroma for half the price.
