Perfect and ZERO Plastic
I wanted a plastic free French press and this is actually an all around plastic free French press. The only rubber part on it is the removable outside base so it doesnât slide, or so that you donât bang it when setting it down.Itâs well made, itâs aesthetically pleasing.To rinse the filters you just unscrew them from the bottom. The filters are perfect and thereâs 2 attached ready to go and 2 extra in the box, so if you want to add or remove for preference of filtered coffee. No complaints. Worth it.

I live off the grid, and need a good powerless winter coffee maker. I’ve only used this a few times, but it makes great coffee. I love that there’s no plastic in contact with my beverage, it’s attractive, and easy to clean and use. Some reviewers complained that it broke, but I bought it anyway because anything glass is bound to break eventually, and sometimes quite soon if it isn’t handled with care and mindfulness. I preheat with hot tap water, as advised, and hand wash (no dishwasher anyway) am very careful where I put it to dry and store. I expect a good long life from it, and will adjust my review if it breaks and isn’t my fault.

The Beaker broke while washing it
I don’t recommend this item. I am so dissapointed. I purchased this item in September 2024, not even 5 months ago… and while washing it the beaker shattered. I have been so careful because I know it is glass and glass is sensitive… I never place it in the sink with other dishes, made sure to hand dry it. It was never placed in the dishwasher…. and it just shatered while washing it by hand…. What a waste of money.I attempted to contact the seller but I can’t find the information. This item had to be defective because it shouldn’t have just shattered as it was just recently purchased.

Makes Coffee!
Saves a ton of money by not wasting coffee. No more giant appliances with pots of wasted coffee. Reality will come crashing in literally and figuratively when, after getting jacked on too much coffee, I smash this incredibly fragile glass carafe into a million pieces. Until then I’m just going to drink more coffee and pretend it’s never going to happen. If I hurry up and drink more coffee I’ll save enough to be able to get another one!

Plastic free coffee!
Stainless and glass is all your hot coffee will touch in this product. I spent a good hour looking for a press with no plastic, but ALL had plastic in contact with the coffee, unacceptable! The only plastic is the rubber footing and scoop (replaced with stsinless). I use this press everyday, and so far I’m really happy. I rinse out the grounds in the garden and do a quick wash with soap in the sink.
