Once your primary fermentation is complete, you will be ready to move onto second fermentation! Second fermentation involves adding fermented kombucha from the previous step to your airtight bottles along with fresh fruit, juice, or other ingredients you would like to flavor your kombucha with. I purchased my starter kit a little over a year ago. The kit included good quality ingredients to start a first brew. Life happened so I didn’t get to start my first brew until recently. Wonderful “quick start” instructions were easy to follow. So far everything is working as described in the kit and on the Bucha Brewer’s website. Am not sure about the flavor of the second ferment kit. Mine included lavendar and lemongrass. Lavendar isn’t a favorite flavor of mine but I will figure that out.After 18 months of store bought kombucha, I can’t wait to try my own finished product.Thank you for a great starter kit!

Once you find how with Amazon’s lites make everything a pain to find manage to contact the seller. No problems easy work with them and got replacement bottle. Package came damaged they made got me going and replaced the bottle. Works great. One 3rd batch.

I did purchase the kombucha book to go with your kit.
This is my first attempt to make kombucha. I wish it had come with the strainer, funnel and a bottle washer. It’s going to be hard to get these bottles clean without a baby bottle washer thingy.
