Bought four of these for my disabled husband who tends to drop or knock over drinks and break things.These cups are great!! They’re durable, unbreakable and they keep the heat and Cold very well .Must press top release button to dispense while drinking. If u cannot do this, pass on these.Could not tell you how many times these have hit the floor, concrete , etc, with no dents or damage.Has been a game changer as I no longer have to worry about messy spills or broken glass. Bought two at first, but soon realized I needed more..bought two more so I can have 2 to wash 2 and use.Comfortable grip easy to use highly recommend if you’re in my situation.Dishwasher safe!Side note° may want to buy 2 or 4 as they can get a buildup of scuz in the lid mechanism. Recommend daily cycling through dishwasher. I need one for hot coffee and one for cold water, so I use 4 for sanitary reasons

My Favorite Travel Mug
I’d had one of these before, but lost it in a move. I tried a few others and just couldn’t go back. Not finding them locally, I scoured the internet until I found it here.I love this mug.There are a few things that I really love about the mug, but are really a matter of preference. The handle is attached to the lid. This is unusual, but I love it.This doesn’t keep things *quite* as warm as other, more insulated mugs do. Some people might not like this, but I love this quality because I always tend to find drinks to be too hot. It keeps them warm, but cools off quickly enough for me to drink it.The lock has a lock. The handle has a large button that you have to hold with your thumb to drink. But there’s also a switch on the side of the handle that can lock the button closed. This may be annoying for some, but I find it extremely handy for when I’m carrying it around: I don’t have to worry about anything bumping that button and causing a spill.The mug is sleek and shiny, but doesn’t get covered in fingerprints. It’s easy to clean, with a clever mechanism in the lid that opens up and allows you to scrub behind everything. A little tab on top comes off, allowing you to clean the vent too.When I first had this mug, I worked in a very busy environment where it was extremely common for people to knock their mugs over. This one received the same treatment, but never leaked once. The only time I’ve seen it leak, I had it unlocked (but without the button pressed), held it upside down, and aggressively shook it up and down.

Definitely my favorite travel coffee mug. Keeps coffee hot for a long time, really comfortable to drink from, fits in my cup holders and easily slides into the side pocket of my backpack. – love the easy one handed operation and leak-proof security. So why not five stars? because after a year, the plastic mechanism inside the drink-button (that allows you to open the valve and drink) seems to always break such that the rubber gasket barely opens and your coffee diminishes to barely a trickle. – making it frustratingly challenging to use… but I like it so much, I find myself buying another one! (Contigo did honor their warranty the first time and replace it free of charge.) But, Contigo… why don’t you replace that little plastic part with a metal part so it won’t break – or at least make it a little thicker … there are lots of complaints about this in the reviews, please! fix the design! – otherwise, this is a great mug … feels like purposeful obsolescence!

I had a similar product from the same manufacturer for many years until it started leaking a little. So I bought two of these mugs that will last me for a long time. The product is advertised, keeps liquids hot or cold for some time. The important part is that there is no leakage even if you tip it over.
