leaks from button
I wanted these to be perfect. Unfortunately, for one of these, the lid leaks from the button area, really terribly. I tried tightening the lid at various tightness-es (though never with my full strength, obviously), I checked the internals and everything seemed to be in working order. But still, when tipped to drink, it comes out around the main bottle seal, all over my hands and shirt. The other one’s lid doesn’t leak that way, but it does give me lots of air instead of just my drink. I don’t want to have to police the “way” I drink it and exactly when to push the button, to avoid gulps of air, which are super disrupting for me. Also, the button does require more effort to push than I could like. Also, someone pointed out that the packaging says the product contains formaldehyde? is that what the funny smell is? Overall: Returning.
