    beautiful and handy
I like fresh pepper and I cook a lot. The manual grinder hurt my wrist because you have to twist and twist to get enough pepper. This little mill is wonderful. I just press the button wait a few seconds and get fresh pepper every time. It has a USB-C charger so every couple of weeks I give it a little charge. Super useful.

    Electric pepper mill.
This is a must if you buy pepper in bulk, and need to grind it for future use, save your wrists from a manual pepper mill.

    Lifetime Warranty
These are nice salt and pepper mills. All of our friends are impressed by the LED light! Our mills recently stopped working. We tried replacing the batteries and cleaning it out, but that wasn’t the problem. I contacted Cole & Mason about the mills and they told me to send them in since they have lifetime warranty. 2 weeks later, a brand new set of the same mills were delivered to our front door! We love buying from manufacturers who care about customer service and are willing to stand by their products.

    Nice idea but no longevity.
If you want a grinder to last 7 months or less this is the grinder to buy. I had purchased the salt and pepper grinder, after a month the salt grinders motor just stopped working, returned it for a refund, after 7 months the pepper grinders motor just stopped. I am stuck with non-working pepper grinder. I did not use it more than 4 times a week. Its a nice idea but for the price it is not worth a 7 month life span. It takes at least 6 batteries and even with good batteries it lasts a month or so then you need new ones. That being said I could live with that if it kept working beyond the 7 months. it looks nice on my kitchen counter as a prop.

    Only lasted about 2.5 years.
Worked decent but it uses 6 AAA batteries that lose power fast, and I only used it approximately 2 times a week. Just recently stopped working all together. I would just stick to the manual pepper grinders in my opinion.

    Worth the splurge
Did I have pepper grinders? Yes, more than one. Did I love my pepper grinders? No, hated nearly all of them. This purchase was a pure splurge, but it was worth it. Many electric grinders just don’t cut the….pepper good enough. This one does. I have yet to refill it with after market pepper, so I will update the review in case it isn’t perfect….but it is. Wife loves the LED light, which hurts because then I had to buy the salt grinder. Did I have a salt grinder? Yes….you know the grind.

Wish I’d Ordered One Years Ago
This is a terrific pepper mill. The light on the bottom comes in handy. Easy to fill and operate. I reach for it most every day!Two things hold it back from five stars.1) I wish it churned out pepper faster2) I wish it could grind a bit coarser

This pepper mill is built solid, has some heft to it, and works really well. A bit slow to grind when you need A LOT of pepper for a recipe or something, but then this isn’t really the right tool for that.

Works as its supposed to, grinding adjustment is variable so takes some getting used to, stainless steel of ceramic grinder which is better I guess time will tell. This pepper mill runs on AAA batteries, I would have preferred AA they are less expensive to replace. Although not totally necessary I love the light. Over all I am happy with my purchase

Sleek design. Nice light feature but why? Am I going to be eating in the dark? Batteries take up most of the space, that’s why it’s tall. You can only fill the see through container with maybe 3 tablespoons of course salt. I had to make a paper funnel to fill it too. Not convenient opening. I was using pink Himalayan salt. The grinder stopped working after fourth use. I wanted fine ground salt. Maybe it couldn’t handle the restricted mill opening. There’s a dial underneath you turn either clockwise or counterclockwise for fine or course grind, pretty easy. I changed batteries multiple times, still no change. The grinder stopped working. I probably would have kept it if it didn’t break even with the small filling capacity and inconvenient way of filling it. But, it broke and now I don’t trust it anymore. It broke within the first 10 minutes of trying it out.

I had purchased a previous version (another brand) which was both electric pepper and salt grinders in a caddy. They looked great but didn’t grind well from the first time I used them. So returned them and purchased the more expensive Cole &Mason. The C & M works like a dream and feel so much more substantial than those previous ones. So happy with this new purchase. Worth every penny.
