Using it to Save $ on Energy Drinks and Soda (Healthier Too)
I was helping my teenage-adult son (who works a tough, physical job) go over his finances, when we discovered the mind-blowing amount of money he was throwing away on convenience store drinks (especially energy drinks). He’s always been a tea lover and I wondered if we couldn’t utilize that to find a solution to lower the beverage expenditures in his life. So I ordered him this pitcher. A simple thing that is now saving him big money. In fact, he’s gone ahead and ordered a second pitcher. One for caffeinated teas. The other for herbals. Every night before bed, he loads the filters with his chosen teas. By morning, they’re ready to be put in a stainless steel bottle and taken to work. He recently told me how happy he is with the pitcher. He likes that the teas are tastier, healthier, and cheaper than what he was drinking previously. He also appreciates how it’s such a simple and quick process to make, even faster than stopping at a convenience store.

Great cold brew coffee carafe!
I really enjoy having a cup of cold brew coffee every morning. This jar is perfect for how I like to make things. I had a smaller one, but if I forgot to make it the night before, that meant no coffee to take to work in the morning. This larger size gives me more flexibility on remembering to make more. The double lines metal mesh filter is also nice! I like the fact that even the bottom of the filter cone is filter material, so liquid and grounds don’t just sit there, but it allows the liquid to actually drain through. It’s also more heavy duty than the smaller one I had, as it isn’t a flimsy fabric filter. The grounds can get caught in the filter, so the included bottle brush helps with washing it. Honestly, this is my second glass 64oz jar cold brew pitcher. The first one I didn’t have the lid on tight enough, and the full jar fell from the lid (I was holding it by the handle), and broke. It was a very sad morning as not only did it break, but I then had no coffee, but a huge mess of coffee and broken glass all over the floor. So make sure that your lid is screw on tightly! (But not too tight, because then you can’t unscrew it to remove the filter and grounds before pouring out the coffee. The only thing that would make this better is a disk filter that sat on top of the filter, before screwing on the lid. This would allow you to just pour the coffee without having to remove the filter beforehand. (Once it’s cold, with condensation, it’s hard to unscrew the lid)

Great for brewing a big container of herbal tea!! Excellent quality strainer!
This strainer set for a half gallon mason jar is EXACTLY what I’ve been wanting. I was surprised to see it’s a product that exists. It works perfectly to brew a large container of herbal tea. The photo is of chamomile tea brewing.The strainer itself is very good quality – stainless steel with very fine perforations. The chamomile rinsed out easily, even after I forgot to dump out the tea overnight! The strainer also has a rubber/silicone gasket so it sits firmly in the mouth of the jar. It works with other standard mason jars as well.The pour spout handle lid is indeed very comfortable and tidy. It pours much more cleanly than trying to pour straight from the jar.I’m a mason jar enthusiast. I keep coming back to them for so many uses in the kitchen and I really like finding accessories that make them even more useful for more applications. I’d highly recommend this set. I plan to get a few more!

The Cupluw cold brew coffee maker came as advertised. The pitcher itself is in fact a large heavy duty mason jar. The filter is made of a super fine mesh and extends to the bottom of the pitcher. The top screws on with a twist of the wrist.I purchased this to make iced tea rather than iced coffee. I have a few bags of loose leaf teas kicking around the house and often want to make ice tea, but find it a chore. Using the Cupluw made iced tea brewing easy. I measured out 15gms of black tea, put it in the filter and inserted the filter into the mason jar. Filled the pitcher, secured the lid and left it at room temperature overnight. In the morning I had a tasty brew. As easy as that.I also think the price on the Cupluw is more than fair. The jar itself is probably worth the asking price. When you add the functionality of the filter and lid, it’s kind of a bargain. I’m happy with it.

This cold brew coffee pitcher is SO easy to use. Just fill up the filter with your favorite grounds, fill the pitcher with water, then let it sit on the counter over night. It’s that easy to make a HUGE amount of coffee concentrate. I don’t like creamer or milk, so I just mix the cold brew with equal amount cold water, and it makes a delicious ice cold americano.The filter is SO easy to clean. Just dump the grounds, rinse it in the sink, then clean it with a brush. It comes clean very quickly and then air dries. The pitcher and lid pop into the dishwasher for quick and effortless cleaning.This is such an easy to use coffee maker. The filter is great quality, and it fits with any large, wide mouth canning jar. Good product, good price.
