Love the Kick cold brew gives me
Cold Brew Coffee Maker for Wide Mouth Mason Jar is a wonderful item for those interested in making cold brew coffee at home! It comfortably sits in a 64oz mason jar, a perfect fit for better volumes. The style is basic but works well since it allows good flavor with every cup. The mesh filter makes certain that the coffee ground are held in place resulting in a nice cold brew. It’s also quite easy to maintain and very sturdy so I suggest directing high-pressure water from the outside towards the inside to help keep the filter clean. This coffee maker is a must-have for anyone who loves to drink cold brew and I do not even want to think how would I be brewing without this one. Definitely recommend this to anyone who would like to brew their own cold brew!

Durability and Quality! Two years of heavy use!
I bought this product after experiencing Cold Brew for the first time and I have NEVER looked back. Just today this product died after two years of VERY heavy use. I would brew a 64oz mason jar of Cold Brew twice a week, sometimes 3 times even, without a break and the coffee always came out pure, clean, and free of coffee bean that can sour any caffeinated journey, while maintaining a high quality of flavor that made it through. The Pro’s: Easy to use! Just throw it in the jar, add 2-4 scoops of your favorite coffee (I did the Colombian Roast) and add water. Refrigerate overnight for 12 hours and you have a full pot!The Con: Cleaning it was a bit of a pain, though hardly unmanageable, and it did gain some stains from constant use.Good Product, good results, and good coffee, what more can you ask for?Would recommend!

Convenient, clean, and bound to last!
I went through 2 Takeya cold brew coffee pitchers. The fittings and filters lasted, but the Takeya pitchers cracked, turning the whole set into a bunch of plastic trash.I’m trying to get away from plastic anyway (not to mention getting away from buying stuff that will only last a year or two).I love that this is stainless & silicone. I love that it fits a wide-mouth mason jar. I love how well-made it is: the seam is rolled and pressed tightly for a smooth finish, the bottom is fitted securely, and the mesh is very fine.I usually use it in a quart jar for fresher cold brew, but when expecting guests I make 1/2 gallon. Some reviewers say the jar lid can’t fit using the gasket, or that the gasket leaks… I never had either problem. I wonder if they noticed that the gasket has a slit? It fits around the upper rim, so 1/2 thickness is between the filter and the jar lid, and 1/2 the thickness is between the underside of the filter lip and the glass jar rim. Clever, and it works perfectly.

    Cold brew at home
Good product. Can’t seal with lid with the rubber seal around the cylander but removable so I can store in fridge, covered overnight while brews. Sieve works well, no coffee grounds in brew. Fits perfect for 64oz Mason jar.

    Fantastic
This is like my 11th coffee-making contraption and I don’t regret it one bit. I usually make my cold brew in a French press and that works swimmingly…but I had to have this because, come on…mason jars…and it’s just fun stuff. I got the big one for the 64oz mason jar. It looks cool, it steeps nicely, and I can’t fit my hand all the way in it to clean out the grounds but it rinses out pretty well. It feels sturdy and solid.

Great start to making my own cold brew
The setup is pretty easy to use, and so far has produced great results. At this early stage, I have no opinion on durability; time will tell. The TUBE+ fits perfectly in a 64 oz. wide mouth Ball jar. I requested coarse ground coffee, i.e. for a French press, and used the recipe’s amount by weight based on trusted advice from a cook with skills. Pour the water over, stir gently with a cocktail spoon to get the coffee good and wet, then cover and wait. Cleanup was very easy: remove the Tube and gently tap. Almost all of the grounds fell right out, and what little remained I back flushed under the faucet. No grounds or residue stuck to screen surface. One could certainly run it through the dishwasher but it really doesn’t seem necessary. The coffee came out tasting great, and was very strong. Cut with water: coffee 1:1 or 2:1, based on preference. A recipe from Bon Appetit that I found suggests running the coffee through a paper filter, but they don’t use the TUBE+. Does not seem necessary with this product. The coffee was not cloudy, and there are no grounds either in the serving glass or settled in the jar after several days in the fridge. Highly recommended!

    simple and easy to use
There is a tradeoff as far as how much you can make versus how concentrated it is. I have the 64oz size tube and want to make as much coffee as I can with a ratio of at least 8.1 : 1 (water to coffee). I measure coffee in grams. Don’t use cups since volume is not an accurate way to determine the amount of coffee. Also it’s easier to measure water in liters since it’s a 1:1 ratio of liters to grams so calculating the ratio of water to coffee is simple. After a few tries I found that you can fit in 192g of coffee (ground coarse with a bartaza at a setting of 40) and 1600ml of water. It’s filled almost to the very top so the grounds are immersed. Perhaps you could squeeze in 50ml more water and 6g more of coffee but I didn’t try that yet. This coffee is ready to drink the amount of dilution you might want to add is minimal, depending on your taste. It would be considered maybe a bit strong for some without dilution. I like coffee diluted with milk so I add 100ml of milk to 250ml of coffee. I’m not sure how much water I would add if I were to try this without milk. In any case the ratios I chose don’t require a massive amount of dilution since it’s not that concentrated. If you want to make more concentrated than my numbers there is a bit of a dilemma which is how to keep the coffee fully immersed. If the tube is filled up pretty high with coffee grounds and you use less water than some grounds won’t be immersed. It might be possible to put some inert stuff in the jar to push the water levels higher (maybe marbles that have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized).

Definitely a much more substantial and harder-wearing product than it’s much cheaper Chinese-sourced equivalent (I have bought both). However the cheaper one achieves effectively the same degree of filtration, it would appear… I liked the guidance and free downloadable book with this.

I started making cold brew coffee a few months ago using a nut milk bag and mason jar.I found this setup to be messy, slow, and difficult to keep grounds from appearing in the finished product.I picked up the Tube+ and couldn’t be happier! It’s super easy to use, strains well, and is a cinch to clean. My cold brewhad never looked or tasted better!
