ANKOMIN COFFEE VACUUM
It holds about one lb of coffee beans. It takes several turns to create a vacuum but it does work. The dial is fairly large and smaller hands may find it difficult to turn the dial.

A Must-Have Vacuum Container for Easy and Neat Storage
I’ve been using this vacuum container for three months now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen storage items. It’s incredibly easy to use; you just need to twist it a couple of times, and the vacuum is created. There’s even a handy indicator that lets you know when it’s fully vacuum-sealed, which takes out all the guesswork. The design is also really thoughtful. The square shape and stand design make it perfect for neat storageâno more awkward containers that donât fit in my cabinets or pantry. Everything stays organized and easy to access, which has been a huge plus over time.I primarily use mine to store agar powder, and itâs been perfect for that. There’s a clever filter under the lid that keeps the powder from being pulled out during the vacuuming process, which has worked flawlessly. Even after months of use, the seal remains strong, and the container shows no signs of wear.Overall, I highly recommend this vacuum container to anyone looking for an easy-to-use and space-efficient storage solution. Whether you’re storing powders like me or anything else, this container will keep your items fresh and your space organized.

Does not hold vacuum long at all
At first I thought maybe I was doing it wrong. I wasn’t. I waited too long, and now I’m out of the return window. I have the remorse. It does not hold vacuum for more than a few hours typically. Ineffective.

A decent container which keeps your coffee bean fresh
I have used it for weeks to store my coffee bean. The design to vacuum the container is pretty brilliant. Just a couple of twists. The container itself is air tight. A clear indicator on the lid will show you the status of vacuum . A filter cover is provided to prevent power from being pull out during vacuum. Overall, it’s good product with ease to use, effort less to maintain and good build quality.

Easy to seal, Holds vacuum seal, Not sure is more effective than other sealed containers
I am using this product to store coffee beans and while it works, I’m not sure the vacuum seal is more effective than the storage container with a rubber gasket/seal and clamp/locking mechanism that I typically use. I compared beans stored in each for a month; the beans were from the same 2 pound vacuum sealed bag in which they were purchased. After a month, the beans smelled the same and neither were as fresh as compared to when I opened the original bag. This container did hold the vacuum seal for the month. When I pressed the release button, I could hear the slight “whoosh” of air entering the container.I don’t find the process of originally sealing/vacuuming out the air, while simple, all that obvious. I just keep turning the knob until it seems like it’s hard enough to keep turning it. I do like that this product is 100% manual.Overall I am satisfied enough to keep using this storage container for coffee beans and give it 3* (It’s Okay).

Unsure if it is doing much
Question: How exactly does the average consumer test if a coffee bean placed in this device stays any fresher than if it was left in its original packaging?Answer: You can’t. So please keep that in mind as I offer my opinion/best guess…I’m a HUGE coffee lover and have numerous coffee-making devices/machines on a long coffee bar in my home. I have a coffee grinder and grind fresh grounds before making a pot of coffee, hoping to achieve peak freshness. But the grounds are only as fresh as the original bean was. And, hey, it had to travel a long way to get to me so how fresh could it be? That means I have to do whatever I can once the bean and its friends arrive at my door.I use vacuum sealed containers for my flour and sugar, but had never tried putting coffee beans in one before. Once this arrived, I dumped a brand new full pound bag of beans into the container and began twisting the round device on the lid to create the seal. Now as I stated at the open, how am I to know if those beans would have stayed fresher if left in their original package once it was opened. So the only “test” I could use was to sniff the coffee. If the coffee maintained a strong coffee smell day after day, then I surmised that the vacuum seal was working.I’m happy to report that the coffee scent has remained strong over the time I’ve been using this. Though I should offer a disclaimer: I go through a lot of coffee in a short amount of time, so the beans that were placed into the container didn’t remain there for long before they were all consumed. I’d say the last beans had probably been in there for ten days, tops.I’d feel more confident in the “seal” if this let out more air when it is released, but then my flour and sugar containers don’t release any air and those items seem to stay fresh.
