    Glass tea maker
Absolutely gorgeous, small size tea maker. Exactly what I wanted. You could use any kind of tea or just buy fresh mint, pour boiling water and have amazingly refreshing, delicious drink. In addition, it is very easy to clean because the opening is wide enough for you palm to go in.

    great little teapot
loved the size (enough for two smallish cups) and the top/strainer works well even on finely ground tea leaves. perfect!

I finally have something simple for loose tea
I saw a teapot like this one in a restaurant in Tennessee and asked if I could buy it. When they said no, I went looking online. This one is almost identical. Solid and sleek. I finally have a simple teapot for loose tea. But I also use teabags in it. (Because I’m not sure whether it can be used in a microwave—without the metal, of course—I have been heating water in a glass measuring cup and then transferring the hot water to the teapot.

    Works Great
It brews one cup (not the unit of measurement) of tea at a time, and it is pretty thin so be careful when washing and transporting it. You wouldn’t want to place this in a sink with other dishes in it. Preferably place a cloth beneath it for safety. I like that it has a metal lid/strainer so there is likely zero plastic contamination. Still a slight nickel contamination because it is corrosion resistant stainless steel but that is leagues better than plastic. There is a silicone lip on the lid that prevents the lid from falling out and keeps it watertight, meaning it comes in contact with the tea when pouring. The strainer filters out all medium sized particles, the ones that get through are comfortable to swallow. I have only used this with teabag tea, since I don’t like the idea of having forever chemicals in my body I just tear open the bag and pour it in, that works perfectly with the strainer. When you have just put boiling hot water in there, the sides will immediately get hot enough to burn you. Just set it down and let it steep like you would any other tea, and pour it when the glass is comfortable to touch. I like to keep the lid on while steeping to keep any flavor from evaporating off but I don’t know if this works, and it may have the adverse effect of heating the silicone lip and creating greater contamination. Overall a product that functions very well, 9/10

    Great little teapot/kettle, except…
After much research I chose this for tea-making because:- one container for both heating the water and steeping the tea = less “stuff” in my kitchen- simple, clean design – no fiddly parts- borosilicate glass won’t rust or leach chemicals- no metal contacting the water and “flavoring” my tea- $20 vs. $200 designer pots that reportedly rust, flake off their coatings, etc. If it breaks, I can buy 19 more for the same moneyGOOD:It works perfectly, pours without dribbling and is easy to clean.BAD:A pot advertised as cooktop-safe must have a flat bottom for use on a glass-ceramic electric burner. This pot does not.The bottom is slightly concave, so only the outer perimeter actually touches the cooktop. On a gas cooktop this wouldn’t matter, the flame would heat the entire bottom evenly enough. But on an glass top electric cooker, all the direct heat will be focused on one narrow ring of glass. This is exactly what you DON’T want, ESPECIALLY in a glass pot. It creates hot spots surrounded by cold spots. That increases thermal stresses within the glass, increasing the likelihood of it breaking. This (I expect) explains the many pics of pots whose bottoms fell off.SOLUTION:Heating in the microwave (sans metal lid) is safer and works fine. If that works for you this is a great solution. If you must use your glass cooktop, I’d look elsewhere.

    Works great easy cleanup
I really like this. The handle and top is cool to touch even with hot water poured in. When pouring, no loose tea gets through the strainer, I can reuse the loose tea remaining if I want. It feels like the glass used in a science lab, so hopefully its durable. And it’s easy to clean. Best loose leaf tea steeper I’ve used. Great value for the money.

    The BEST Tea Infuser
This is the absolute best tea Infuser I have ever bought! I have even sent one to a friend as it worked so well. The tea can steep freely so that you can get the most out of your tea. Then when you pour it, the top strains it!After I’m done using it, clean up is super easy. I also am able to recycle my tea and make a “watered down version” for my plants and they love it!Best buy. I would highly recommend this!!! I wouldn’t wait on buying one or two as Im concerned it’s going to start coming up to where it’s out of stock! It is THAT good!

Nice, but fragile and broke easily
Good size, seemed nice, but fragile and broke easily when it bumped something in the sink.

Very nice product- cute but big enough. The packing is protective and looks pleasant. I put it directly on an electric stove to boil some fruit tea, very functional and I love that the handle is not hot at all after long time boiling.

I chose this teapot as I wanted one that allows the tea to infuse for the entire time that there is water in the pot. Initially I wanted an insulated teapot to keep the tea hot but I am really pleased I bought this. It is the perfect size for me to have a few cups of my jasmine flower tea in the afternoon.

I love my brewed tea! This teapot allows tea leaves to open fully. The filter is strong, so you won’t end up with anything but a perfectly brewed tea in your cup.Highly recommend to all tea lovers.I bought the second one as the size is only good for 2-3 cups and we drink tea a lot.The best teapot!
