First False Nailsâ Tips
Bought the color FALLING STAR CAT EYE and added photo/video as itâs hard to tell what the color really looks like. ðð©¶ð¦ð¿ It is definitely more mauve/silvery pale purple than the pink shown in the 1st photo. They look exactly like the product flatlay photos.ð OVERALL RATINGS:- Quality: 10/10, looks professional- Ease: 9/10, easy but possible to F up (tips below)- Kit: 10/10, love the sizes and tools, but I used diff glue- Price: 9/10, WAY cheaper than professional acrylics or gels, canât compare to other false sets- Longevity: ?/10, feels sturdy but will update- Health: ?/10, hopefully less damaging than gel, will updateThis is the first time Iâve used press on nail tips. I prefer to do my own nails, but needed something both sturdy and stunning for an upcoming event, and gel destroys my nails. So far, so good (mostly):â TIPS:- NON-GEL APPLICATION â Why do so many tutorials include gel for falsie application?! Hereâs what i did WITHOUT GEL: File your nail surface, dehydrate with included wipe, place tab, spread glue over the sticky tab/your nail, and spread glue on the falsie itself. Press together hard 60sec.- FILE THE FALSIES!! âï¸ Choose the nail size that best fits/covers your nail. But FILE THE FALSE NAIL TO FIT!!! I didnât file on my left hand as the fit seemed good enough, and my thumb in particular hurts a bit where the corner is digging into my nail bed. 𥴠The base of these is square so if you have round nail beds, donât make my mistake. I filed the nail bed of the falsies for my thumb and 1st finger on my right hand and they are totally comfortable.- ALIGN THE NAILS!! ð Yâall, I glued one on crooked ð I realized immediately, but it was already stuck down. When you start placing the nail down at a 45 degree angle, hold your hand out and gauge if itâs crooked, then adjust the angle slightly before pressing firmly. (If you glue one crooked, file to make it less obvious)- BEWARE THE GLUE!! â ï¸ I used an external brand. This s#%+ is like super glue. Iâm serious. I got a tiny bit on my finger as I was pressing down, and it got on the nail itself, leaving a dry patch i could not 100% remove. Also, if you get it on your skin, get your skin away from the nail IMMEDIATELY before it dries.- DO NOT PRESS TOO FAR IN! âð¼ On my right hand, I was more conservative with how much I pressed the nails down into my nail bed. They donât feel like theyâre digging in and are way more comfy. Still press them very hard, just donât shove them into your cuticles.- TOP COAT!!! 𫧠I noticed the layers of the false nails separating slightly when I filed them. I used my normal clear coat overtop and over the tip of the nail to seal everything together, and cover up the little glue scuff on one nail. 100% recommend.â¼ï¸ OVERALL RECOMMENDATION:- If you are a nail girlie, I think these will change your life lol. 20$ for a manicure that looks professional and holds up is a steal. ð¸- Howeverrrrrâ¦. I donât typically get my nails done. My nails grow fast and are strong, so I bought these purely for the look. This medium length is the longest Iâm comfortable going, and suit a special event more than my everyday life. ð ð½- For me, I cannot say whether I will do this process again until I see how much of a b%^% the removal is (will update ð«¡ ) Honestly, I suspect damage because Iâm not kidding when I say the nail glue I used smelled and looked exactly like super glue. I have no idea how Iâll get it off. Im scared ð𤣠Iâll try again with just this brand kit to compare glues. If these donât damage my nails, I will 100% use for special events in the future. ððð»

Not Your Mother’s Press Ons
I have been trying to keep my peel- and break-prone nails intact for an upcoming manicure for a special occasion. Having trouble with them unprotected, I looked to press ons to provide a shield. I applied two coats of nail protein and one coat of nail hardening top coat prior to application of these nails.Holy moly! Gone are the weak adhesive stickers of the 80s! Say hello to a strong, jelly-like adhesive sticker that applies easily and held my nails on for days. I only removed them, not because they were falling off, but because it was time to clean them for hygiene purposes. These nails lasted through showers, housework, typing, everything. The nails look great. Fairly natural, comfortable. Plenty of sizes to choose from. Super easy application and simple to trim to length, even when they’re already adhered to the nail. Removal was a breeze, too. The adhesive comes off easily after soaking in just water for a bit. Use an orange stick to push it off gently if needed. The press ons can be cleaned with a bit of a soak in warm water and a gentle soap, then use an orange stick to remove any lingering adhesive. My natural nails underneath looked awesome. Totally free from damage and growing healthily. I would recommend some kind of barrier between your natural nail and the adhesive tab, as I did with the coats of polish. I think this was really key to protecting my nails from damage.I just reapplied my nails and am eager to continue to see beautiful and protective results!

Great BTArtbox quality, just a little thick
BTArtbox has some of the best quality press on nails in the game and are one of the few brands that I regularly purchase from. I typically order their small almond sizes, and haven’t really strayed from that over the last year or so. I bought the short square nails in “Rockstar” with the silver tips because they were very cute and I wanted to branch out a little. Of course, these nails are durable and fit better than almost any other brand’s press ons, and I intend to keep these nails on for another couple of weeks if I can. My only complaint is that these nails are a bit thicker than I’m used to. Maybe it’s because they are square and not almond-shaped, making the thickness of the nails more noticeable, but unlike the other BTArtbox nails I’ve worn in the past, these are thick looking and definitely could not pass as natural or even as salon-done gel nails. They have a sort of “acrylic” style look and feel to them.

A great brand for press on nails
This was perfect for a quick nail set! I wore these for my wedding and they lasted for 3 weeks before I removed them. They are beautifully elegant and very sturdy

Accurate to description and photos!
You can tell they’re press ons and not something like acrylics, but they’re sturdy and fit well. There’s good size variation and extras so you can adjust to your nail shape easily, and they’re not super bulky in height. The color is pretty and has a cat eye effect as described. The tip has some machining bumps left over, but those can be filed off, they’re not too bad.
