A message from founder and owner Evan Hafer
I started Black Rifle Coffee Company to provide a high-quality, fresh roast coffee to the pro-2A and Veteran communities. Between deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, I worked to refine both my coffee roasting skills and my firearms skills. I have spent over a decade researching coffee, refining my roast profiles and (of course) drinking what I roast. Black Rifle Coffee is quite literally the combination of my two favorite passions. I take pride in the coffee we roast, the Veterans we employ, and the causes we support.

The smoothest, tastiest coffee Iâve ever had
I make cold brew coffee at home. I typically buy beans from Costco (Starbucks brand), but Iâve tried quite a few different brands over the last 4 years. Recently I havenât been liking my cold brew âitâs been bitter or not strong enough. So Iâve been making some changes like length of time I brew for, âcoarsenessâ of the grind etc. I also wanted to try new beansâdid a little research and general recommendation is a dark roast is best for cold brew. Of all the beans Iâve tried these have made the best tasting, perfect cold brew and I will not be changing anything else or buying any other coffee beans because these outdo all the others by a landslide. My Favorite BRC Flavor

As a US Army Vietnam veteran I was first attracted to the fact that the company is completely veteran owned and operated. This made me want to try it. But then I tasted it. Fantastic! Absolutely the best coffee Iâve ever tasted!! Highest grade possible!

Pay attention to the bag.
I’m used to bags that close with a sort of integrated twist tie thing. You trim the top of the bag off, then fold it over and use a flattened wire pre-adhered to the bag to hold the folded edge shut.This bag has a ziploc type closure. I discovered this after cutting the top off.Otherwise, pretty smooth for a dark roast.

We are not fans of a certain popular and overpriced coffee chain. We thought it was the dark roast this chain uses. We were wrong. This dark roast (Beyond Black) is absolutely delicious and not at all bitter. Iâve already ordered two more bags. My new favorite
