Works well, waterproof
Works nicely, can’t complain. It seems pretty waterproof and hasn’t shown any signs of tea soaking in. My only very minor complaint is that some tea pools on the top and doesn’t drain completely, due to the design or the top tray. But that just means that the bottom of my tea cup is a little wet, not a biggie.

Excellent quality and aesthetics
We have used this tray now many times for Gongfu Cha and the quality is quite excellent. Withstands water with no issues. The Chinese landscape “mountains in the mist” aesthetic is right up my alley. It’s minimal, modern, yet traditional and rendered in a most elegant way. Such a nice price for so much quality and exquisite design.

The layers of bamboo begin to separate quite quickly. Not sure how the sealant will hold up with boiling water.

Beautiful, small tea tray. Absolutely gorgeous craftsmanship. Works perfectly to serve tea and catch any drips. The size is small, but meets the needs as it fits a tea kettle and 2-4 tea cups perfectly. If you’re using the mini tea cups, it could easily fit 6 cups along with the kettle. Love the size as it doesn’t take up too much space and stores well. If you don’t want to display the etched design on top, just flip over the tray top. Would highly recommend for all Asian tea lovers!
