Great design to keep soap bars from melting away. The soap sits on a wooden grid with a moat below it to catch water as it drains, leaving the soap to dry quicker. And then you can easily drain out any collected water. Love it!

Great soap dish but advertising is deceptive. It shows a picture of two which is misleading. You get one soap dish.i thought I was getting two. Still, I do like the soap dish.

Cool look and actually real function benefits.
I love the Asian look, it’s plastic but such a good price, the inner piece looks like wood and it handles fine. Unexpected benefit is always seeing the collected water unlike the aluminum ones where the lid has small holes and needs lifted to check & pour it. Saves the fumbling about, also the thin grate is much easier to rinse soap residue from, if you’re lazy like me, flip it to the clean side and soap now at the bottom will soak off some – top notch design. Combo of large one and small face soap size is a winner also.
