This unit cost me about $17, not free nor cheap.Its very easy to turn off and on by pressing the one button on the unit.This button is also used to change heat settings referred to as âchanging gearsâ which is an odd statement considering this is not a car, truck or moving vessels.It seals perfectly!I move the cereal bag across the sealing platform from left half to right half to get the entire bag sealed because this is a 5â(inch) sealing area and my cereal bag is approximately 9.5 inches wide. No problem doing that.It have a silicone pad at the bottom so the bags seals fast and easy. The mini stand at the back prevents tipping over while using.Bonus!!! Extra replacement heat strips were sent within the box so no need to buy new ones for a little while.Yes, an actual sealer that you can replace the heat strips when worn out instead of buying a new unit, this is definitely a plus in my book!Its perfect for traveling with. Can be used anywhere once fully charged. I charged it once since i bought it. It comes with a little charge in the unit so you could test it right out the box.Iâve been searching for a good seal like this for a few years now. Iâve wasted money on 3 other so-so type cereal bag sealer for home use before finally finding this one.No batteries required! Yessss!!It have a rechargeable 3000 maH lithium ion battery built in the unit.This is a mini version of my Vvivid impulse heat sealer(badass bag sealer!) that i use for my business, but made by a different company.I gave this 4 stars because iâve been using it daily for the past 3 weeks for quick bag sealing of cereal bags after breakfast with no isses to date.Time will tell about its durability which i hope it lasts forever. One of the coolest things Iâve bought. It has five temperature levels/modes, type-C charging port, and the âCurrent Inputâ is rated 2A, (considering the built-in battery rating:3000mAh/3Ah which is high capacity) so charging process is practical & on point, and thisâs Specs wise.Iâve used this on chips bags to reseal, 1st gear is the perfect fit for light density bags, Iâve also used this on rice bag witch is thicker about four or five times the chips bags and did a very nice job on 4th gear!Iâve tested 5th gear on that thick rice bag, itâs a little to much heat it partially melted the bag! This little sealer isnât a toy for sure! Mini size but donât let it fool you!
