Best coffee mug! Does not fit in car cupholder.
I highly recommend this mug. I have owned it for 2 years and expect it to last forever. I like my coffee piping hot. OK fine, like the family says, boiling hot. This is ceramic mug is perfect. I like how my hand fits in the curved handle – I have been through a few mugs, turns out my arthritic hands don’t like the rectangle handles. I like that the edge of the mug is very thin and fits my lips for pleasant sipping. The ceramic coating makes it easy to wipe out the stains. It comes in variety of colors; I chose the color of the Rocinante mugs :-). The plastic lid with rubber guard is sufficient and effective but it is not meant to be spill-proof. With the lid on, my drink stays hot for a couple of hours. With the lid off its about 35 minutes, enough to finish before it gets lukewarm. Some have noted the sliding part of lid gets loose. This is not a deal breaker because I sip with the lid off. And if you are careful when rinsing the lid it will not get loose. Avoid taking the sliding part of lid apart too much otherwise the tiny gasket will get lost which causes it to become “loose”. This is not a travel mug per se – it will not fit in a car cup holder unless you have very wide cup holders and a open notch near the bottom for the cup handle, however it fits in my Toyota Tundra cup holders with that middle insert removed. I have dropped this numerous times (note arthritic hands) and no chips or dents! Good quality and fit for purpose!

Great ceramic lined mug
I have ceramic lined pots and pans, which I really like. So I thought I’d give this mug a try and I’m so glad I did. It’s very nice with a thick durable ceramic coating. It keeps my coffee hot even without the lid. Some reviews mention chipping. My guess is they are not gentle with a spoon. These need to be handled in the same way as my pots and pans. No metal to ceramic clanking. Just be gentle and you will love this cup

Really nice cup
I’m very pleased with the features and function of this cup. The ceramic lining makes a very noticeable difference when drinking hot coffee.. no metallic after taste. The lid is simple, seals great and is easy to drink from. Keeps hot drinks hot a long time and the silicone ring on the base keeps polished granite countertops from being scuffed. I recommend this one.

Ceramic lining is still on so far
I bought this cup because my tea tastes terrible in stainless steel cups and I couldn’t find another ceramic lined that was affordable and had good reviews. If you need this to be leakproof this is not the one, but if you don’t need it to travel (I would take mine empty and fill it at work) it is a pretty good cup, a bit too small for me, but better than nothing. I drink TONS of tea, all day long, used metal spoon to stir it with as well and the lining is still in tact and my tea tastes like it should. Wish the lined ones came in a few larger sizes.It’s only been a month, but I use it all day long. OH, it keeps hot for at least 6 hrs, I don’t do cold so don’t know.Any marks in the pictures are from tea staining and/or sugar.

awesome travel cup
This is an awesome insulated travel coffee cup. The ceramic lining is a blessing, no metallic tasting coffee anymore. It fits good in the modern automotive cup holders. If you have the soda can size cup holders, then not going to fit. The cup looks and feels real sturdy, plus it has a pretty stable bottom too. It insulates perfectly and lasts for hours. I like it so much that I think I will purchase a backup one.

Lid not tight
Sort of meh about this cup. I’m keeping it but my search for the perfect coffee cup continues. As shown in the photo, the lid is not the claimed “tight”. Liquid freely dribbles out if you knock it over. It’s too wide (3 5/16 inch) at the bottom for my cup holder so it’s not really a travel mug. It is not dishwasher safe which is annoying. It keeps coffee warm and the lid helps with that. The ceramic liner seems good although it has that odd design of the steel being exposed on the outside of the lip. The handle is functional. Like I said, meh.

Light-colored ceramic doesn’t stain!
This was my third attempt at finding a ceramic-lined mug that I could brew tea in without a metallic or plasticky taste. Mug #1 worked great until I tried to clean it – the white ceramic stained badly and my attempts to scrub it eventually ended up chipping it. Mug #2 was the only one I could find with black ceramic, so my staining problem was resolved. However, it had a unique lid design that, while ingenious, I ended up not liking. The mug was smaller than I wanted to begin with, and the lid took up a lot of room inside, which made matters worse. This one, mug #3, is great! I don’t know how they did it, but even though the ceramic is light-colored (off-white/beige), it doesn’t stain and the tea residue wipes right off. And while the mug walls are not as thick as either of the other two I tried, it keeps my tea plenty hot. I did replace the lid because the one supplied has a sliding closure that got in the way, but I could have lived with it if I didn’t already have a replacement handy. The only improvement I would suggest is the handle – it’s strong but not particularly comfortable.

He buscado una taza para mi café de cerámica, esta tiene el interior color crema pero no creo sea cerámica o es una capa muy pero muy delgada. Realmente no es lo que yo buscaba porque siento si sabe a metal un poco el café, pero no le doy mala calificación porque la taza en sà está muy bien hecha y de material resistente en el exterior, lo único que veo es una tapa frágil que no contiene por completo mi café en caso de mucho movimiento, si llega a derramar.

Keeps drinks warm but copper base split with minimal use and only way “according to the seller” is to send it back to the manufacturer (unknown) or back to them and they will forward it on for repair- all at my expense. That’s daft, no one will repair it and an obvious ploy to avoid replacement which any reasonable comnpany would do. So -1 star on quality and -1 on supplier.
