High Quality Acacia Wood Box
The Acacia Wooden Tea Bag Organizer Box is a beautifully made, very good quality wooden box. Acacia wood is strong, tightly grained and generally sustainable.The box has internal hinges, which I am not familiar with, so I am curious about their longevity. They definitely are visually attractive, being mostly invisible inside the wood. The lid moves very smoothly and fits perfectly; it’s attached, and stays open without a problem.The box I received is somewhat two-toned, but mostly a dark, almost walnut stain. The only issue I have with the box, at all, is the smell. I assume it’s from the stain and, if so, will dissipate over time. I currently have the lid opened, to let air to circulate, and the odor isn’t detectable unless I sniff close to the box.The inner divisions are not removable and fit most tea bags perfectly. The box is so well made and attractive, I can see using it in many locations to hold a variety of small items. I might cut some felt squares to fit into the bottom of the compartments and use it to store jewelry. Since I don’t know what the stain is made of, I will not use it for food, except for wrapped items.Very beautifully made, elegant wood box.

check the size before you buy …
nice box, decent construction, bigger footprint than I expected somehow, so check the measurementsand for a lot of people 8 compartments may be more types of tea than you need to keep on hand; for others of course it may not be enough … so consider your space and your needs, but if this fits both ways, it’s very nice

Nice tea box!
This tea box arrived well packaged and looks as pictured and described. It has enough storage compartments for eight kinds of tea, or if you’re like me, I use a couple compartments to store other small tea and coffee accessories. This can also be used for other types of organization, not just tea! The lid is nice and replaces the counter space lost by setting the box on the counter. Looks nice on the counter and classy.

Tight box- close to airtight
I don’t know if this box is 100% airtight but it has a very tight fitting lid. As you can see, it holds the contents of several small boxes of tea packets. The box is attractive and feels very nice

I LOVE that I have a nice, organized, quality, classic keeper for my tea storage! Before this, I stored teas aolong with cocoa envelopes, seasoning envelopes, and some other things in a tall, glass cookie jar in the cupboard way up above the range hood in the kitchen.NO MORE!They’re now safely tucked into this ‘Jewelry-Box-Quality’ wood box that I would be proud to present if I had made it in my shop, (I DO make these kinds of things, and this one is NICE!).The acacia wood is a great environment for tea since it absorbs moisture and ‘wicks’ it away from the tea.I made a great choice here!Will you?
