Itâs a nice size
Arrived promptly and packaged securely. The colors are pretty, and I like the size of the bowl, makes it easier for mixing Matcha. Cleaned up nicely in the dishwasher. Let me know if this was helpful!

All the tools necessary to start making matcha!
This set is SO CUTE. The bowl is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for a dedicated matcha bowl, I mean of course you can use it for everyday pouring but that’s less fun.Now I didn’t actually utilize everything that came with this set. I’m a matcha newbie (as you probably are), so some of the extra things I didn’t use such as the cute printed cloth and wooden spoon. I did however use everything else.The bowl, as I said, is nice. No complaints there. Everything is protected in carefully cut foam pieces that protect every component, so there is very little risk of things coming broken. I used the bamboo whisk to make a few cups of matcha. The whisk itself is a bit more fragile. Not really a knock though, since it is expected to be that way. The set also comes with a small ceramic whisk stand that matches the bowl in design. I used this after I cleaned the whisk to make sure it dried properly and kept it’s shape.In addition, there is a stainless steel sifter included, which is used in tandem with another curved wooden implement (Pictured: hidden in the top slit). The sifter is used to break up any matcha clumps before it ends up in the bowl.All the tools worked well and I was impressed with the packaging for this whole set. The only negative with a set like this is you have a lot to clean up afterwards, which is just a criticism against matcha preparation anyway. Definitely going to make more in the future!

Fancy and functional
This “Gradient Green Matcha Kit” is very nice. It includes everything you need to get started making traditional Matcha tea (except the tea itself). The Ceramic bowl and wisk holder are nice and thick. They are glazed/glassed, and the pattern is very nice, in my opinion. I will admit I’m not an expert on Japanese tea ceremonies; I’ve only witnessed it once, but this set looks very similar to what I saw.I was able to make a decent-tasting cup of Matcha tea using these tools. I went overboard with the bamboo tea scoop and put in way too much powder my tea was too strong. On my second try, I put in just one level scoop, and it was about perfect. Be sure to read the directions for your Tea powder carefully. I had no trouble with the wisk, but it is a bit of work to get the tea mixed. I have used my milk frother in the past to make Matcha tea, and this tea set works just as good, if not better. It does not change the taste of the tea. As far as I can tell, the bamboo wisk did not impart any odd flavors. I’m very happy with this tea set and would recommend it if you want to make Matcha tea in a more traditional way.

Beautiful high quality complete matcha set!
I have been wanting to switch to Matcha for my morning ritual to try and wean myself off of coffee. I thought getting a beautiful set like this would encourage me to use it and help with my goal of drinking less coffee and something health.The quality is absolutely beautiful. This would be gift worthy.The colors are absolutely beautiful. It will be easy to clean and itâs so pretty. It could be left out on the countertop.Itâs a complete set and all you need to get going is to add Matcha.The included class has a stunning painting on it and the material feels beautiful!Included a picture of the back of it so you could see that itâs not going to be slick on a countertop.This set is absolutely beautiful. Really convenient matcha set
We didn’t know what we were doing when we first got into matcha tea. I used a soup bowl and a spoon, of all things. Eventually I got a bit of guidance to use the whisk and how to prepare the whisk for its first use (hint, you dip it into hot water to “bloom”). This set is exactly what we should’ve started with. I especially appreciate the whisk holder.

Be wary of splinters
So this was a nice set, packaged into protective foam so that the ceramics didn’t break. Unfortunately when I placed my hand into it to retrieve the bamboo scoop, splinters stabbed my finger and broke further into smaller shards that I was unable to remove with tweezers. Pain didn’t subside until a week later so I recommend you glove up to prevent the same potentially happening to you. Whisk was fine as well as the spoon.
