I’ve purchased three different sizes of mylar bags from this seller to package everything from tea, high end Japanese rices, and homemade treats to gift at work.The gift recipients have always been impressed by the beauty and quality of the mylar bags. These bags definitely made everything I put in them look professional and expensive.Since I use a heat sealer and oxygen absorbers to maintain maximal freshness of everything I package, a few gift recipients have asked me where I bought the items-not believing that I could achieve such a professionally packaged look at home.I can attest that the seal on the bags is very good since I accidentally knocked a sealed bag of rice into a sink full of sudsy water where I had pots soaking after my latest heavy duty cooking project. The bag protected its contents flawlessly. All I had to do was rinse off the soapy water, wipe off most of the water, and let it air dry the rest of the way. The bag of rice that went for an unplanned dip looked no different than its brethren. No one could tell it had suffered an accident.The only time I’ve had any issues with the product was when I ordered the quart size bags. It had not been placed perfectly in its exterior packaging, and some of the product arrived bent and rumpled rendering them cosmetically unsuitable for gift giving. However, the blemished bags were perfectly fine for my personal storage use.I have thoroughly enjoyed using these mylar bags.

I really like these Mylar bags that have a window so you can see what is in there. Would I use it for veggies or for meat. No way but for candy itâs the way to go. I opened one that I have packaged about two months ago and it was milk duds. Oh boy they are still just perfect and very yummy. There are different colors you can chose from but I like the gold. The black are also very nice. Thatâs the only two colors I have tried . They store well and with moisture absorbers (for candy ) I donât even bother putting an oxygen absorber in there. The freeze dried candy stay very well for at least a. Year and I am sure longer. If I was going to store for longer than a year (candy) I would put in an oxygen absorber. These are great.

These are some great bags for candies and fruits like trail mix they are a little thinner then I expected but not as flimsy as the cheaper bags that tear apart if you open to fast I would say they’re in between if your using for personal use if for commercial I might go with something a bit thicker.
