Not a typical use, but perfect!
My wife uses a french press coffee maker, but our house is old (with old pipes) so the plumber recommended that we don’t dump any food items down the drain. We bought these paper filters and place one in the drain to dump the grounds from the french press. After it drains for a minute or two, we toss the filter with grounds in it into our green bin. These filters work great for what we bought them for!
