They do the job… but not perfectly
I have yet to find aluminum foil lids that match the quality of the original sealed Vertuo coffee capsules. These lids are close… however, I still have some minor splitting in the center which then allows grounds to spill out during the spin process. These foil lids feel a little thin and tend to curl sometimes when pealing them from the paper (could be just my pealing process) prior to installing on the capsule. This is not a big deal breaker. A nice feature of these lids is that they are a little oversized… this gives the user a little leeway when placing the foil lid on the capsule. The additional lip of the foil lid (that hangs over the capsule) is to be folded over and pressed tightly to the underside of the capsule rim which should help to prevent the foil lid from separating from the capsule during the spinning process. In the end, these lids have done better than most that I have tested… but still not perfect. Again, when the lids split in the center, that allows grounds to escape and land in my cup of black gold⦠not good. When it comes to my coffee pods, I need a no mess, no waste, perfect cup of espresso!

Does not work completely
These lids are too big or bulky. After the brewing process the machine cannot eject the pod and you have to pry it out.

Works very well, material a little thin
These work well. They have no problems sticking to the pods and creating a good seal. I’ve used them several times and made coffee without any issue.Comparing them to another brand I have, the sticky part of the lids are slightly smaller in circumference than the competitor brand I have been using (the inner circumference). This means you have to be more exact when placing the lids onto your pod. So, it’s a bit nicer to use the competitor brand. However, I haven’t had any issues getting the lids onto the pods with the KNCLUX brand. If I hadn’t had the competitor brand, I wouldn’t have noticed. The foil is thinner than the competitor brand too, so it is easier for the lid to curl and wrinkle when peeling it from the plastic sheet. Again, this hasn’t inhibited me from using the lids on my coffee pods and making a cup of coffee. On the other hand, my brother has had issues punching holes into the lids during application, complaining the foil is to thin. Of course, my brother manhandles everything and has broken three windows because he was to rough while closing them. So, I guess if you manhandle everything then you might need to get more durable lids. Otherwise, I have had no issues with these lids.
