Brian Abbott –
High quality and nice looking, pour spout “seats” into the top for easy pour.
Found this stainless steel pour over, having replaced two glass pour overs, this one is the BEST. Not only durable, but has a great pour spout that securely fits into the opening for a clean pour. Large capacity, two travel mugs filled and some left over for maybe a 8 oz cup. Keeps contents hot/warm for a long time ( actually went to grab the last bit about 5 hours later and still warm). Highly recommend.

Compact, #6 Filter contrainer, but pricey
Matches our Aroma Electric Kettle (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NCY1YFK?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) perfectly and insulates beverages for 2-3 hours well.Purchased this based on our happiness with Melitta products in the past (although we use Bunn exclusively for auto-drip), and use it at least 2-3 times a day.Hand Cleans well and doesn’t really need an automatic dishwasher cycle. We just rinse the pour over top, pot and lid and it stays neat. The #6 pour over top doesn’t lock down and is easily removed. The sealed lid snaps on top and has a trigger to open the pour spout. One complaint I had was that when the pot is near empty, the pour was a bit messy since the liquid would escape around the spout as you tilted to pot to pour. After a while it came to my notice that the pot acts almost pressurized and if you hold the trigger open and pour slower, the spout contains the liquid well until empty. Crazy but it works.Ultimately, it’s a bit pricey for what it is, an insolated pot with a plastic top and lid. At $50 it’s too high. The quality and capability is more in line with a $29 price tag…

Better than expected!
I have and have used a porcelain Melitta coffee pot for decades. Itâs my favorite way to make coffee. I was looking for something similar to take in my RV but did not want to risk breaking the porcelain one Iâve long enjoyed. This version is durable, cost effective, a space saver in an RV and keeps my coffee piping hot for hours. Perfect find. Highly recommend if you enjoy a pour over coffee.

Excellent Pour but slightly smaller carafe
For several years we’ve brewed our own coffee with the Melitta filters and their carafe. However, the plastic tab used to pour on the older carafe broke. We liked the system enough to order a new carafe, however, we discovered that Melitta has produced a new version of the carafe which I ordered. Once it arrived, we found that the new pour mechanism works far better than the older model, producing a smooth, strong, drip-free stream of coffee into our cups. The new carafe also keeps our coffee hot for quite a long time. The only reason I dropped a star on the rating is because the new carafe is slightly smaller than the old version. When one uses a full standard electric kettle of 1.7 liters (max) it overfills this carafe. The older carafe accepted the full 1.7 liters of coffee. Even though slightly smaller, I would order it again as the pour quality and heat retention is excellent. Just have to drink less coffee.

Keeps coffee hot long
Works great. Pour boiling water in the pot before making coffee and it keeps it hot for a couple of hrs.

Great carafe.
We do pour over coffee so this is a great carafe that makes it possible to do a whole pot. It keeps coffee at a good hot temp for a few hours. It is certainly a good value! Considering giving as a gift to other coffee drinkers.

Excellent coffee with a small footprint
I got tired of coffeemakers that didnât last, didnât want a behemoth, donât need frothed milk or other bells and whistles. I tried one of the K-cup brewers, but even using my own, environmentally friendly filter and my own, high-quality coffee, I couldnât get it strong enough. Hated it. I already had an electric kettle so decided to try this. It really doesnât take longer than a typical drip coffeemaker, and waiting for the kettleâ a couple of minutes â barely gives me time to empty the dishwasher or water the plants on my kitchen windowsill. And the coffee is so much better.

I have come home to the Melitta pour over way of brewing coffee. I first used this method back in the 70âs and gradually started using coffee makers and eventually forgot what a good cup of coffee should taste like. I laugh because young people think pour over is ânewâ.This thermos pot can hold 8 to 10 cups and keeps it warm for hours. The cone filter fits the opening well and the thermos lid snaps securely in place. It pours neatly. The coffee is so clean and fresh tasting compared to the muddy taste from my automatic coffeemaker. Itâs so easy to use and I like that it can be cleaned every day with no build up of residue like what was lurking inside my fancy coffeemaker. I also purchased the Melitta Classic glass carafe pour over unit âjust becauseâ. I had no idea it was still available. This Melitta thermos unit is 5 stars all the way and I recommend it to anyone who loves a great cup of coffee.

Exactly as described, well made. Keeps coffee hot for hours. Easy to clean and store. Coffee filter sits snuggly on top so isn’t tipsy when filling with hot water.
Tracey Renaud –
It does what it says . Though the only draw back is when you make more than one cup of coffee and have a second cup say an hr later or so the coffee is just luke warm not hot

We use it for our off grid trailer. Use propane to boil the water, and the coffee stays hot. It doesn’t stay hot for hours, like a tumbler, but long enough.
