Have owned this product for one year. Literally this week is one year and it has stopped heating the milk and the froth isnât as frothy as it used to be. For $130 you would expect the machine to last longer. Out of warranty since it has been a year now. I have owned over 4 brothers over the years and my recommendation is to spend around $60 (sweet spot) and have it last a bit over a year. All these frothers malfunction between 8 months to a year. So youâre spending $60 and now you will need to throw out the device. My last one was the breville ($180) and it lasted 19 months. That was the best one. I still have an old Nespresso that works âsometimesâ – so my next purchase will be $60-70 and hope and pray it lasts a year. Itâs a shame

Don’t get me wrong, I liked the product itself. Easy to clean and works well.That being said, after 6 months my milk was no longer frothed. It was hot, but no longer foaming. So I called the customer services to return the product to the company so that it could be repaired. They told me it could take 6 to 12 weeks to processâ¦(what other choices did I had?). Luckily, I decided to pay an extra with Canada Post to have a tracking number. Thatâs when it all beganâ¦they told me they never received it (which wasnât true), after that they told me they were processing it and that they had already sent it back. When I requested the tracking number, they said it wasnât sent yet. More then 25 emails exchange later (because they will never call you, even if youâre requesting it), they finally gave me the tracking number. All that to realize it was shipped while I was on vacation for 10 days. I never received the package (probably stolen). I complain again to them so that they can ship another one, but it took in total more then 4 months for me to receive a new product and even as of today, they just sent me an email saying that Iâm their top priority and they will ship it soon and they will make sure to do daily follow up with the “logistics teamâ. That they were not able to ship it yet since there was a backlog issue (I received it a week agoâ¦) They have no clue what they are doing or talking about. I will never buy from them again. I though they were a serious company, but they are not.

After less than 4 months, it stopped foaming
After less than 4 months of having it, it stopped working. The milk gets warm but no foam is created. I read some reviews with this same problem but I did not think it could be possible that this brand would have that problem. I am very disappointed and would not recommend.

Disappointed
I love the Zwilling brand, so when looking for a new frother, I bought this one. I got it on 14 Dec and was thrilled at the thick foam it made for my morning latte. That joy was bashed this morning when the machine stopped working. No lights and no foam. Money wasted and I am so very disappointed.

This works great, but the pitcher handle falls off after a few months of use
This product works great at frothing milk; hot or cold. Although it sometimes looses it’s connection to the base and ‘spins out’; you simply have to remove & reseat the pitcher. However, I have already replaced it once because the handle of the pitcher came loose within the first few months. I have had the replacement for a bit longer, and the handle has come off again. We’re two mature adults, and the coffee station is 2′ from the sink, so we hand wash it every time it’s used and don’t throw it around. I think this is a manufacturers flaw in the design of this pitcher for the device (we’ve ‘glued’ the handle back on for now… ;-/

A lot of money to waste and zero support from Zwilling
UPDATE: I did finally get a response from Zwilling and a replacement. I had to keep following up with them though. I’ve only been using the new one a few days, but it seems to run smoother. Time will tell if it lasts. I’m upping my rating.I will say it’s much better than the Aeroccino I’ve been using in the interim. The Aeroccino only ran for like 30 seconds, which is not enough time to fully foam even a small amount of milk. The Zwilling runs for 2 or 3 minutes and foams ALL the milk and warms it nicely. It’s harder to clean than the Aeroccino, but I can live with that.*****After some struggle initially I was able to get this to work, for a while. I thought I was doing better by buying a more high end product. The packaging and literature was impressive. Made a lot of noise to froth and wasn’t very consistent. Did not froth anything other than real whole milk. Stopped working entirely at 6 weeks. Complete failure. After several messages back and forth with Zwilling, they sent me a return label and said they were already sending a replacement and I’d have it in 7-10 days. I sent the old one back and it’s been about 5 weeks and no replacement yet. No answer from Zwilling on my inquiries. Don’t buy ANYTHING from this manufacturer.

FINALLY a decent frother!
Third time’s the charm. After 2 manual frothers with broken class snf one plug in that was impossible to clean and stopped working after 2 months, I finally sprung for this gem. Makes lovely thick and creamy foam for my morning coffee. I’m cutting down on sat fat and frothing it up like this makes even 1% milk taste good! Easy to clean– you can actually wash it (unlike the last one). My only fear is the the plastic that holds the thing that spins around and froths might break at some point, but I’ve been careful and the whole thing has held up flawlessly for half a year now. Win!
