Ich liebe im Sommer Coldbrew Kaffee mit Vanille Aroma und Eis zu trinken. Dieses Glas ist ideal dafÃ¼r, perfekte GrÃ¶Ãe fÃ¼r die ganze Woche im KÃ¼hlschrankâ¦passt perfekt im KÃ¼hlschrank, nimmt nicht zu viel Platz dur das quadratische Form und mit dem Harn immer sofort einsatzbereit ohne den Glas aus dem KÃ¼hlschrank rausnehmen zu mÃ¼ssen. Das feine Filter dazu ist perfekt fÃ¼r Kaffeeâ¦es kommen keine gemahlene Kaffeereste durch den Filter in den Kaffee hinein. Im Sommer ist diesen Glas immer in mein KÃ¼hlschrank bereit und wird am Wochenende immer frisch gebrÃ¼ht. Ich liebe es! Den Harn tropft nicht nach und die Dichtung hÃ¤lt sehr gut. Nur beim Waschen muss man gut damit aufpassenâ¦den Glas nicht auf die Waschbeckenkante anzustoÃen.

Tanto si te gusta el cafÃ© para hacer un cold brew como si te gusta el agua de sabores o si tienes una fiesta y quieres llenarlo de rebujito debes tenerlo. EstÃ¡ muy bien construido. Lo he metido varias veces en el lavavajillas y aguanta perfectamente. Lo tengo desde principio de verano y ni el grifo ni el filtro tienen ningÃºn sÃntoma de Ã³xido.

Finally Got Rid of the Mr. Coffee Tea Maker!
Hi, my name is “Jon” and I’m a Teaholic. I drink iced tea almost exclusively and, for the past 30 years, or so, have been using a Mr. Coffee Iced Tea maker. Not the same one, of course, but have purchased multiple over the years. It worked fine for iced tea, but I’ve been on a mission to get rid of all plastics as far as heating and storing food.This 1 gallon tea/coffee maker is a perfect replacement. It makes and holds a full quart more than the 3 qt. iced tea makers, doesn’t stain so it’s easy to clean, and the spigot makes it ultra convenient to dispense without having to take it out of the fridge.I get very hot water right from the tap and have no problems adding that right to the glass pitcher BUT I’m very careful not to do this while the pitcher is cold to avoid cracking the glass. If the pitcher is still cold from the fridge, I simply fill it with some luke-warm water and swirl it around to help bring up the temperature of the glass before refilling with hot water.Next, the cap/top needs to be a little loose to allow airflow into the container or the coffee/tea will not flow correctly from the spigot.It’s a little on the pricey side when you consider it’s just a large mason jar with a filter and spigot, but it’s ideal if you like cold brew and/or drink a lot of iced coffee or tea.

A very versatile beverage container
This glass drink server is solid and durable. I have used the infuser tube to make cold brew coffee, which came out perfect. I have also been using this jug for making sun tea. It cleans easily and I have yet to find any issues with it. The dispenser valve is strong and works well every time. Every gasket seals like it should and the jug does not leak. I love how it doesn’t change the taste of my beverages because glass doesn’t put off any flavor. I highly recommend this pitcher.

Best tea jug I own
I have purchased many many tea jugs for in my fridge and this one is, by FAR, the best one Iâve ever owned. It is easy to wash, which is a huge bonus. The spout does not leak and Iâve been using it for two months. This is well worth the price and fits in my fridge with ease. The glass is thick so this will last a long time. Highly recommend.

The spiket doesn’t leak!
When I received container I was a little disappointed seeing that it had the same spicket as a previous purchase of an other brand that leaked terribly. But much to my surprise although the bottle is almost identical to the previous purchase of another brand and the spicket is identical this one didn’t leak it fits perfectly in my refrigerator I keep it for cold water. If I have one complaint it’s that the spicket is too high and will not drain all the water out of the glass container unless I tilt it. And like the previous other brand the top is very difficult to screw on and off. But so far I am loving this unit.

Great product for Cold Brew
Two factors sold me on this product – the 1 gallon size and the stainless steel filter. I have had this now for two months and it has been in constant use. Simple to use and it makes excellent cold brew.I recommend starting with a good coffee that you like hot. The standard drip grind works well for cold brew. I use 10g per 6oz cup of filtered water or 200g for a full gallon. Put the filter on a kitchen scale, zero the scale, pour in 200g (7 oz) of ground coffee, put the filter into the glass container, fill slowly with cold water, screw the lid on and you are good to go. I allow the coffee to brew for 48 hours, and then remove the filter/coffee grounds. (I place the filter in a bowl to drain and will recover up to 1/2 cup of coffee.)Wash the filter with soapy water to remove any coffee oils; then store it safely to avoid damage.One question I have seen is about the brewer is the lack of information on how tight to screw down the spigot to avoid leakage. Assemble the spigot with the silicone washers inside and outside and steel nut inside. Tighten the nut – slowly and carefully – until the raised edge on the silicone washer is flat. Fill half full of water and let it sit for 30 minutes to test for proper seal.One other comment has been about the lid. It is definitely not heavy duty but it is stainless steel. Be careful to not squeeze and deform the lid and if, when you put it on, you turn the lid backwards a half turn (counter clockwise), then turn it clockwise to put it on, the lid will align properly and close.

Excellent and simple
This is the way to do cold brew. I don’t know if I will ever use the spigot but it’s cool and functional. I take the cap off and make a huge cup. So easy to do I ALWAYS have cold brew now. Actually starting to use it to make my own custom creamers. I know it’s a bit much. Haha
