Zojirushi Flip-and-Go Stainless Mug is the best for heat retention
Wanted to find a coffee travel mug that would keep my coffee hot. Too many others on the market claim to keep your drink hot or cold but have other flaws such as not really leakproof, paint that scratches and peels easily, interior coating materials that are concerning, or difficult to hold. I have other Zojirushi products and they are top quality.My one mistake was being optimistic the I would be able to use this mug to drink from while driving. Probably not the safest to try sipping with the flip open lid and still keeping your eyes on the road.My quest for the perfect travel coffee mug continues, but I don’t regret my purchase of this flip-and-go mug. In fact I bought two in different colors. These mugs absolutely have been leak proof when sealed as directed and keep my coffee very warm to hot during a 10 hour work shift. I haven’t used for cold drinks yet but have no doubt they would still be cold after many hours too. The construction and paint quality is solid. Love the flip handle for carrying.I hate work coffee, so these mugs allow me to make extra coffee with hot milk froth at home, transport them in my work bag without leaking, and refill my regular coffee mug when I want another cup. Stainless steel interior is easy to clean and keeps flavors true. Turned out to be the best little thermos type containers I have ever purchased.

Favorite Beverage Container
Purple is my favorite color and their purple really pops out. I also like that itâs able to retain both heat and cold for my water and tea, and the handle is an added bonus! My favorite beverage container!

The best hot beverage container I’ve ever owned, and keeps it hot all day if need be. Easy to clean, carry and doesn’t leak.

Good small water bottle. It keeps things reasonably hot for many hours.
I have tried many different kinds of insulated bottles and cups and I like this drinking spout most of all.I have only tried it with hot things and it does keeps things hot for a few hours and then warm afterwards for many more hours. It appears easy to clean although the instructions for taking it apart for a deep clean are very confusing and tiny. I will tackle that later as I am only using it for plain tea and not things with milk or other gunky substances.The lid with the push button open and the slide lock appears to be solid and will prevent leaking. The flip up handle is useful and is positioned high enough on the bottle so it still fits in a car cup holder. The interior is a nice, shiny silver and 16 ounces is a decent size but it feels kind of small. I think 20 ounces and up would work a bit better but I am happy overall.

Best portable coffee mug ever
This is seriously one of the best products that I have ever purchased. I’ve owned a few Zojirushu mugs, and they have all been fantastic. The heat retention on this mug is amazing. Coffee poured into it this morning at 7:30am is still piping hot like I just poured it, and it’s almost 6pm. For the volume, it’s relatively small and lightweight. The handle is a nice added convenience feature that adds very little bulk. The reason I’ve chosen the Zojirushu over other products in the past is the locking lid, which does not disappoint. I needed something with a reliable lock so I can throw it into my backpack without having to worry about it spilling on the rest of the contents, which are often expensive electronics (laptop, tablet, etc.) I never worry about that with this product.One thing that I should note, as it was a bit of a dealbreaker for a friend of mine (but not for me) is that the way the lid opens would make it difficult to drink out of while you are driving. The lid stays attached when opened and could obscure your view. You could take the lid off and drink it that way while driving, then pop it back on and throw it in your bag when you’ve arrived. I doubt it would lose much of it’s heat.I rarely talk about a product to everyone I know like I do about this mug. It’s fantastic, and overall a great value.

Finally. After years of buying every cup under the son only to be disappointed I have finally found a mug that does what itâs advertised to do.I put boiling water into it and left it for TWENTY FOUR HOURS. At the 12 hour mark it was scalding and clearly in drinkable it was so hot. At the 24 hour mark it was piping hot but drinkable (carefully). I love it.Itâs 9am. My coffee has been in here since 5am. Itâs still piping hot. I can sip it, but slowly and carefully.Now to be fair I made sure I made it extra hot this morning. But Iâd guess you could put your drink in at whatever drinking temperature you prefer and this mug will keep it that way for hours. Iâm in heaven. Well worth the money.

I have never added a review before but I have to sing the praises of this product .It keeps the drink incredibly hot for hours it blows the likes of Stanley and yeti cups out of the water in terms of heat performance .I left it at work and was still hot to drink 13 hours later I will be ordering more as gifts ,not the cheapest guess the old addage you get what you pay for comes into play…Don,t hesitate spoil yourself,you won,t regret it.

I bought it as a gift for a friend who wanted to use this while she rock climbed and she loves it! The chalk doesn’t get into the water and it’s easy to wash off.
